    Hey Matt,

Make sure to keep your computer clean image

    Bobby,

That is a great looking Bench!

Here are my latest pick ups….

I know this won't be the one that is included in this registry, but I'd thought I would share here anyway:

Now I need to pack…taking the family to the Grand Canyon tomorrow, should be fun.

    Have a great weekend,

Great additions Paul, I have always loved that 89 Fleer Griffey.

You are making short work of the HOF Rookies Set. Enjoy the Grand Canyon, I would love to hike to the bottom and camp there!

pdub1819--Those are some great cards you have posted. Out of curiosity, what is making that Killebrew a 5.5? It looks really sharp. Congratulations on that card for its terrific eye appeal (as well as the Aaron and the countless others)!

At Jay G's request, I'm posting my latest addition...

I'm now down to needing just one little 'ol card to complete the Post War HOF RCs set. A '48 Leaf of some guy named Satchel. As for the Jackie, I unfortunately missed the boat on when these were more affordable. They've taken quite a jump in value since 42 came out, and it's looking like it's gonna stay that way. Still, I'm quite happy with a 4.5. I really like the centering on this one.

When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Yes that is one real Beaut Andy. Thanks for posting.

I do enjoy seeing set members post new updates.

I missed the boat also. But after looking at your gorgeous pre war set

I can tell I not only missed the boat....I walked the plank and went into the water without a lifejacket

I need to get my screen cleaner out.

Good Luck on that last card. Amazing feet finishing that set. Its so hard to afford to purchase some of these cards.

Here's my latest pick up…what's great about this card is that my boss bought it for me because he was away at a conference for a week and I was holding down the fort at work, so as a thank you he picked this up for me. He even created a whole back story about being at this conference and meeting someone from the "boards" who collects the same stuff as me…I totally fell for it.

I must have missed a few post, but Andy what a great looking 48 Leaf Robinson. Talk about eye appeal that card defiantly has it. Awesome pickup

Paul nice Eck, BTW I thought you were a school teacher? Summer school?

THe Baseball HOF move to subtract 5 years from ability to stay on the ballot 15 to 10 years.

How does that affect the guys already at that level? or are you grandfathered into the system prior to this?

I've never heard of him being associated with PED's. I'd say two more solid years and he's HOF bound. He would be closing in on 3000 hits, 400+ HR and 1500 RBI, mix in the GG's and that's a pretty strong case.

It's widely suspected that Beltre juiced his last year with the Dodgers.

His 48 HRs from that year are roughly 2X his yearly avg

Los Angeles...maybe he was on the Jack LaLane juicer

I'm leaning with Matt.......Good defense couples with decent offense....in a few years he will have solid career numbers.

    He's a naturally big strong guy.....I can see 48 hrs w/o juice.

Are we agreed that Bowman's Best, and not Bowman Chrome, is his top rookie card?

I believe Beltre should be in the set; I'm just not sure they chose the right card.

Beltre's Bowman Chrome rookie sells for significantly more than Bowman's Best, so they got it right.
