pdub1819--Those are some great cards you have posted. Out of curiosity, what is making that Killebrew a 5.5? It looks really sharp. Congratulations on that card for its terrific eye appeal (as well as the Aaron and the countless others)!
At Jay G's request, I'm posting my latest addition...
I'm now down to needing just one little 'ol card to complete the Post War HOF RCs set. A '48 Leaf of some guy named Satchel. As for the Jackie, I unfortunately missed the boat on when these were more affordable. They've taken quite a jump in value since 42 came out, and it's looking like it's gonna stay that way. Still, I'm quite happy with a 4.5. I really like the centering on this one.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
Here's my latest pick up…what's great about this card is that my boss bought it for me because he was away at a conference for a week and I was holding down the fort at work, so as a thank you he picked this up for me. He even created a whole back story about being at this conference and meeting someone from the "boards" who collects the same stuff as me…I totally fell for it.
Paul. Bottom left corner if I had to guess. It's a great looking card, I am glad you like it. I can't collect like I once did, so I have to whittle things down.
Matt I collect: 80’s Rookies and 86 Fleer Basketball
pdub1819 Great scores! Really like the Santo and Marichal. Thanks for sharing. My first post on this thread and have really enjoyed looking at all the great pick ups. Here is a couple of my latest scores.
Paul, your on fire! I am going backwards, I just traded a bunch of my cards for a card I would have not been able to afford. The fun for me is just finding these cards

I absolutely love the G. Perry Rookie! That card is on my must have list. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing what you have at the Post Office.

FIRE!
The reason it received a MK qualifier is because there was a "W" written the back that someone erased and I'm ok with that!
If there was no suspicion of steroids, I'd say maybe. As it stands, I'd say no (as I voted).

I've never heard of him being associated with PED's. I'd say two more solid years and he's HOF bound. He would be closing in on 3000 hits, 400+ HR and 1500 RBI, mix in the GG's and that's a pretty strong case.

It's widely suspected that Beltre juiced his last year with the Dodgers.

Beltre's Bowman Chrome rookie sells for significantly more than Bowman's Best, so they got it right.

I've moved up to Dean of Students. This summer I was "administrative intern," which meant I helped run the summer school program.

Hard to tell from this copy/paste from baseball ref
His 48 HRs from that year are roughly 2X his yearly avg
Los Angeles...maybe he was on the Jack LaLane juicer
I'm leaning with Matt.......Good defense couples with decent offense....in a few years he will have solid career numbers.
He's a naturally big strong guy.....I can see 48 hrs w/o juice.
