In the 70's I was into golden age comic books, the "Yellowkid" is generally accepted as being the first comic strip. In '99 or so when I needed an ebay name that was taken so I used the plural, here it was available.

It is a nickname that has now been used to describe me in three different stages of my life. I didn't choose it this time either. I joined CU as "granddad" but for some reason I was no longer able to sign on due to incorrect password. I clicked on "forgot password" and my screen name as well as my password was changed. I chose not to question karma, so once again I am referred to as "themaster".

    Have a Great Day!

    "You can't handle the truth".

Only the parts that make me feel good about myself or don't scare me too much. I don't want to know that about myself. Do you?

The scariest thing is realizing how malleable, imprecise and incomplete is our conception of what the truth might be.

Used to be a big fan, but don't recall that line. If I was going to take my handle from a Rocky and Bullwinbkle character, Capt. Peter "Wrongway" Peachfuzz might do.

Nickname given by a co-worker back in 93 that I have used as a screenname for years. Added the zipcode when I signed up for ebay and use the same name on VAMWorld and here since I buy and sell coins on ebay and wanted to be identifiable.

Graduated from high school in Pipestone, MN in 1973. Pete is a nickname as my last name is Peters. The avatar is my dad's senior class photo. I also collect currency and am always on the lookout for national currency notes from Pipestone MN. Here are a couple examples for you non-currency collectors. (Do you know if your hometown banks issued notes?)

When ebay first started letting you use nicknames, I thought long and hard, maybe 5 minutes..... and came up with Coindude, cuz I like coins and I'm a dude.

When I came to register here, the username coindude had already been taken by someone who doesn't even post here. And, well after the fact that I chose coindude on ebay.

So, when registering here I came up with coindude on ebay but with no spaces cuz it's easier to spell that way and I know what it means and sometimes people ask why it's coindude one bay and it makes me laugh! image
