I cannot believe that for the last 13 years, I never found the time to psot to this thread.

Just after college, a bunch of us were hanging out at a bar and someone decided to start addressing our friend Jay as "Jay P" because it made him sound more impressive (like J. P. Morgan, I guess). By the end of the night, we had all been drunkenly assigned middle initials. Mine has stuck with me as my default internet handle for 20 years, though sometimes I have to extend it to "seanqueue".

I don't have the patience to go back over 47 pages so at the risk of repeating myself, I started collecting back in the day when I was a school kid running around the estuaries of my home town so when I got back into numismatics the name just seemed to capture that time and that fun feeling I had when I first started coin collecting. Someday soon I definitely intend to grow up.

It's my first initial (D) and a rhyme from my last initial (F). So, "deefree". The 49 comes from the 1949-S cent, the last coin I found for the 2nd Whitman folder for Lincoln cents. You know, those old blue tri-folders from ancient times. Some things you just never forget.

Thought I had posted to this thread years ago, but I did not.

My last name is Eikenberry. A knickname I have is "Ike". In college some friends and I went to see the Clint Eastwood movie "The Eiger Sanction". One friend of mine who liked the movie perceived the phonetic similarity between Eiger and Ike. He started calling me "IkerSanction". It stuck and was eventually shortened to Sanction.

When I joined the forums I typed in my knick name Sanction and wanted to add the Roman Numeral I to it. I made a mistake and typed I twice, resulting in SanctionII. There is no SanctionI.

While "cladking" fits on numerous levels I'm also the heir and pretender who can see the current emperor has no mummy wrappings because they went up in smoke.

Never look behind any curtain unless you're prepared for a surprise. Just look at the smoke and peer into the mirrors and everything is simpler.
