I was an owner of a HVAC/R company and we specialized in Trane Air Conditioning.Trane used Refrigerant 410A. Many times a customer who wanted to compare apples and apples between Carrier equipment with trademark PURON the exact chemical equiv. to 410A. They would ask do you have PURON? I would explain the above........oh nooo they would say no 410A I want PURON. Quite the advertising campaign by Carrier that year.On this site, I tried so many other names for a "handle" and I kept getting rejected as taken. So, I hastily wrote 410a !!. Now, 410a is incorrect as it should be 410A upper case "A" azeotropic mixture lower case "a" is indicitive of a single chemical compound. So there you have it. Regards, Mike

Amongst my many interests in shooting both professionally (Deputy Sheriff), as a competitive shooter, LE and Civilian firearms instructor and simply for fun, I love shooting .50 caliber rifles. My handle is a play on the name of the Raufoss Mk 211 .50 cal. round.

Mine is simple.....I'm really bad at creating message board handles. image

    - Nobody calls me Tommy in my real life.

    - I'm not exclusively a type collector.

On the plus side, it's better than my favorite sports board handle that I've been posting on for 6 or 8 years. "____Newbie". Could I not foresee NOT being a newbie at some point? Gahaaaa......

Wow, I first clicked on this, not knowing it went back to 2002!

My Handle (10-4 Good Buddy)....... just added an 'N' between the E and the T of METAL.

Figured I was mental to be stacking precious metals, numi's, and things I fancied.

Still have not sold, traded, nor flipped one bit of it.

Always figured the difference between eccentricity and being an ****-****-*** (add your word) was Billions of dollars in the bank....

When I joined this Forum in 2001 I collected mostly Classic Silver and Gold Commemoratives. The name Mr. Commemorative is reserved for "AS", hence I chose MrCommem, as not to encroach upon his turf. Now I collect Charlotte and Dahlonega gold as well as branch mint gold dollars. I used my photo of my 1847-D half eagle from my Dahlonega Type Set as my Icon .

There was a cheesy but entertaining late night show called Amazon in 1999. It was similar to Lost minus (most of) the weird stuff. More info on Amazon for those interested. I had another handle on here but forgot the password for it, so when I created a new one I added X to it because I have an x in my name.

    My name is Robert.

Also, it's a derogatory term used to describe a hack wedding photographer.

I shot nearly 200,000 images at 100 weddings and another couple hundred news events over five years.

Should have stuck to news/sports coverage. No pay but ultimate access to just about any event. Just far more enjoyable and interesting.

Weddings burned me out to the point I rarely pick up a camera and I hate even shooting ebay photos.
