    I had one already, why not 2 ?

    Has it been about a year since ANACS stopped including live Daniel Carr autographs in their slabs ?

    It appears that all of the D. Carr items have been imaged in this thread, which I received, although I have not seen this one yet...never mind @COCollector posted it on page 54 (love your silver bi-metallic medal)...what the heck;

    I believe that ANACS does "signature facsimiles" in lieu of actual wet D. Carr signatures these days (months).

    You're right, its been months, not a year.
    I think ANACS changed from live DC signatures around the 2017 Denver ANA last summer.
    At least that's when I got my first facsimile signed slab.

    ANACS is good at automatically sending back the flips & inserts. What I do is put all the coins in larger flips (with the inserts) so the grader can more easily slide them out and on the sub form I write "Please return all flips & inserts" just for good measure. I have never not got them all sent back before.

    The more you VAM..

    I do the same thing. And I always get my flips & inserts returned to me.

    That said, instead of sending the original insert, I often send a cut-to-size photocopy -- especially if the insert has Dan Carr's signature. Mistakes happen, and I'd hate to lose an irreplaceable insert.

    Also, for the products that don't have an insert, I make my own.

    The point is, I believe the grading process goes more quickly if the Grader doesn't have to research the info provided by an insert.

    But why should you bother? ANACS puts a numbered sticker on the flip...

    I've sold a few Carr products on ebay; I think buyers appreciate having a numbers-matching flip-with-insert.

    I don't see any value in sending them in to be graded, I must admit I'm tempted by theie latest offer.
    I make copies of the inserts and self slab them.
    If they did the 51 mm I would send them in, now I put them in Majic Frames
