@robec @Twobitcollector when did you order yours, if I may ask?

I tried to interest Mrs VDB in ordering a couple but she is holding out for a Sure Thing (which personally I think these are). Thanks,

I had to work out some production issues and that delayed the schedule some.
But I have just shipped the first 150 coins (orders up through #12027).

I'll be producing another run of about 200 tomorrow. Things should go smoother now that I have the production mechanics dialed in.

After that, I'll need some more host coins and I'll probably get some at the Denver Coin Expo later this week.

unfortunately I didn't get a shipping notice yet and my order number is in the 11k's :/

Hi Daniel, What would happen if you overstrike on a Morgan that has attractive toning? Would the toning be preserved or ruined? Have you tried this yet?

I was actually just wondering this yesterday. Any way we can supply our own Morgan dollars to be overstruck? Kind of like the Confederate double eagle?

Clicking on pic and magnified, ghost chin, upper lip distorted, massive ear lobe, hair detail behind ear missing. None of mine have these characteristics,

    Finish looks nice. High Grade?

It would really be neat to have one of these coins with enough of a trace of the date from the host coin that you could actually identify the year of the Morgan dollar used to create this overstrike.
