Mail Lady just came knocking. Received Reeded Edge, 1 oz, 1917 - 2017 WW1 Entry and the 2 oz. version. Blown away! Superb all the way around.
A request to Dan. Please consider, if you can technically do it, a bi-metallic, ringed coin. This is the only thing that could make the 1 oz Broken Sword Centennial any better.
If only this design was on our circulating $1 & 2 dollar coin this country would join the rest of the world with no low denomination paper money. The public would be WOW'ed.

got my shipping notice, its finally coming-2017 reeded edge 1 oz. cant wait to see it.
I got a shipping notice this morning also. Looks like the next batch is shipping out now.
Still waiting on my shipping notice. I hope he gets caught up soon. I got a nice size package ready to go to ANACS, and would love to get these Peace 'strikes' packaged up to make this submission.
Mr Carr must have really been "under the weather". Order 2 reeded 1 oz and look what showed up today. Don't really want and am a little disappointed. Sent email to him to fix somehow. ... So which one of you got my 1 oz coins instead of the over-strike
.. ... Edit to add a little better picture..
Update. Dan did get back to me right away and offered a good deal. I'll keep that Peace and he is going to send me 1 of the reeded 1 oz. (50 mintage). I'll be happy to have one of both. Can see in spite of my quick pictures, it is a nice piece...
My 1917 Peace Dollar will arrive tomorrow, hopefully the 2 oz. will ship soon.
I have a Capital holder with 5 holes, I have the 1964 Morgan in Satin, Proof, and Matte Proof.
Morgans on the bottom, the top will be home to my 1964 Matte Proof Peace Dollar, and the 1917 Peace Dollar.
Easy to view and show guests.
Although I think the medal obverse is a bit more than wordy and I don't quite get the premium of reeded vs. plain edge, I just can not get over that reverse that Dan just nailed. Period!
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
Nice pieces fellas!!! Can't wait till Dan has the high grade PL of the 1917 overstrike on his site, or, any other finishes. I check back daily- don't want to miss out on the 1.5 oz silver Clark Gruber either!

Is there another somewhat like Dan? I know, there is only one Dan but is there enough additional material to actually justify a new category? I'm not sure.
I guess if all the other stuff is included. But then isn't it exonumia?
I ordered a couple new things from him, and they should be at my PO box by now. I've been out of town since Friday so haven't been able to check though!! AHH

Log on to usps.com and create an account.
After you log in you go to 'my usps' and all of your tracking numbers will be displayed.
Really helpful when the seller- vendor does not e-mail you one.
A member here sent me that useful tip!

Your address on a package will trigger a progress email from USPS automatically providing you with updated tracking as the package makes it's way to you. Most important? "Out For Delivery" email. Best thing the P O has done in a while. All automatic but you can log on and see the track of any package at any time. Remember to delete the tracking number from the tracking page if you don't need to keep it for some reason. They will clog up your page with completed deliveries if you don't.

Man, you guys who are all getting yours, I'm jealous. I still haven't received my shipping notice yet. Now, seeing there have been mixups, I can't WAIT to see what (or when) rolls into my mailbox... lol
It looks like I already have a usps account for my home address, but tried to add my PO Box and said I would have to go in to confirm the address. Ha... defeats the purpose for now, but might do it for future packages.
Sorry it is not available to you and others. It's really a nice service.
Maybe it has something to do with internet access by their little handheld scanners the postal persons carry, scan the bar codes with and have you sign on the screen? Have you ever seen your person using one?
They are similar to FedX and UPS scanners but smaller. The carrier scans the bar code and adds the status (delivered at mail box, left pick up notice etc) If a signature is needed there are 2 small screens; one for your address and one for your signature. The have a stylus you use to write on the screens and what you write shows up like an Etch-A-Sketch looks. I swear you could sign Bullwinkle J Moose and it would be just as legible as your real signature.
I tried calling the PO and what a fun thing that is. Auto Attendant hell. Now trying "GetHuman" for the tricks to actually speak to a live human.
edited to add:
Well that was fun (NOT)
I got to a live person who was very pleasant and helpful. Although she didn't know the answer she did open a case # and assured me a person from my local Consumer Affairs office would call me back in 5 days or less. We shall see about that. I was given their phone number though.
I would urge folks here to call their local post office and ask for the phone number of their associated Consumer Affairs office. This should allow you to forgo the Automated Attendant hell and just get your question answered by a live human.

I think that is almost double the price of the reeded edge coin. I like it. I'm sure Dan will make it right. Mistakes happen.

Not really as I ordered 2 1 oz. 160.00 vs 175 for the one over-strike,plus 10 ship. Am sure Dan will fix it somehow
I also had a recent mix up.
Perhaps we can bite our nails quietly
Perhaps a separate web page with brief special notices - sickness - vacation - press failure - etc.
A quick shot of my self slabbed 1 oz Reeded 1917 - 2017 Centennial. I need to break out my better camera and lighting.

I have tried to sign-up for this multiple times just to track my MoonLight shipments but it says my "Zip Code is not eligible"
Wuttttt??? Very odd. Call 'um and find out why.
I guess out here in the sticks we don't count
You're not in Guam are you? Can't get much more "sticks" than there. They call it "The Boonies".
No, not Guam,,,,,

Here's my new broken sword reeded medal with the original 1964 Peace dollar, both purchased directly from Dan!
The surfaces on the broken sword reverse are amazing and the like bounces off of it well when rotated. It's well worth seeing in hand!
They have hand scanners but I've never had to sign. I don't know if they are the scan-sign type.
