Just received some medals that Dan made for the Knights of the Coin Table. They are an incused design and they came out pretty darn awesome! They also have hologram lighting bolts on the surface which don't photo too easily, but they look so awesome in hand.
Here's one of the antiqued silver versions, mintage of only 7 pieces:
Here's one of the polished silver versions, mintage of only 43 pieces:
Here's one overstruck on a Morgan Silver Dollar, only 21 made:
And here's one overstruck on a 40% Silver Ike Dollar, only 12 made:
Are these available to own? With those low mintage's I'm believing the Knights of the Coin Table scooped them up. There'd have to be a spell to have them give one up.

I've already put a spell on Mike. Hopefully it will work

They were available to club members and they were pre-order only. In fact, when the pre-orders were taken, we didn't even know what it would look like, there was just a design concept at the time. If I had known how cool they would look in hand, I most likely would have ordered more
I've seen a few pop up on eBay already, and there will certainly be a few more, but with the mintages as low as they are on each version, there will not be too many.
I think Dan should hold a yearly design contest that artist can submit to and let the public vote on the best designs and then do a limited number run of those designs.
Wow, didn't realize they were listed that high... you'll like it when you see them in hand even more.
I might have to think about letting a few of mine go at those prices though! But, they're just too cool though I think. The hologram lighting bolts on these really show well on the silver pieces, but they also are present on the brass and copper, though they are a little tougher to see it seems on those.

Here are some older Knights of the Coin Table medals I picked up a while ago. It's amazing that this series is 10 years old now!
I think coin club medals are a great way to collect Dan's pieces. There are a lot of creative designs as well as minting and finishing technique for these medals.
It appears that the Die Pair 1 ”1964-D” Brilliant Satin No Clashing are sold out. The website states that the "High Grade" has a final mintage of 792 and the "Bag Handled" has a final mintage of 137.

I'm still waiting on mine, ordered on 1/24.....is that 'normal' shipping time? Perhaps it's due to the desire to get them in my grubby little hands and off to ANACS, but I thought Mr. Carr's turnaround times were quicker than that, no??

I also ordered 1/24. I figured he probably mints them in batches once he has a number of orders. The less handling of the dies the better I would think.

Figure on this time frame for order to shipping. He must be doing more stuff than he lets us know about here on the forum.
Shipping does seem to be a little slower than before. I ordered on 1/21 and still no shipping yet either. But he has a lot of new stuff so I sure he's going as fast as he can with orders.
I Ordered up three 1917 Fantasies on 1/22, 10AM.
Sometimes delivery takes 3 or 4 weeks, other times just a few days to arrive.
I'll guess Dan's looking for a certain condition Peace Dollars to overstrike ?
My 5 piece die state 1964D Peace set all weigh close to their uncirculated weights, so I assume DC uses AU-UNC condition Peace Dollars to counterstrike. I doubt he uses good-very fine Peace $.

I ordered some on the 24th also. Plus I ordered some slabs for them from Hong Kong. The slabs shipped just after the Chinese New Year. At one time I sent my items to ANACS but since they switched to UPS Smart Post I find it hard to send to them any more.

That is correct. However, I'm presently recovering from a bad cold/flu/whatever. That put me considerably behind schedule. But I'm feeling better now and back at it. Orders that have not actually shipped yet will be ready in a couple days.

I hope that'll include the order I made today
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I do not have exclusive rights to "1964" Peace Dollars.
However, I do have exclusive rights to my (brand) name when associated with coin products.
That seller may have been attempting to obtain the premium that the "Carr" specimens go for, while skirting the actual trademark by calling it a "Daneal Carr" piece.
eBay is not very efficient at canceling auctions that are "reported" via the link in every listing.
But they do have a "VeRO" program where intellectual property owners can, via special channels, report infringing listings. I reported this listing to VeRO. In the past, such reports have resulted in the listing being cancelled within a day and sometimes within a few hours.
PS:
I maintain a web page with information about "Carr" products which are incorrectly attributed: moonlightmint.com/fakes.htm
The listing is gone.
Only took 53 minutes from the time I sent the email notification to eBay/VeRO and receiving back an email confirmation that the listing was removed.
Definitely one of the cooler items Dan has done recently. I especially like the overstuck Morgan and Ike's. Some cool ghosting of the host coins.
Just got my shipping notification on the peace dollars today. It's like a Moonlight mint Christmas in Feb for me.

I bought the two ouncer. I want to buy the 100th anniversary of the 2021.
I saw yesterday evening on DirectTV that there is a 1964 Proof Morgan reproduction from another company.

Here is a capture of the mintage and styles from this Ebay page

Thank you, GrandAm....that is what I meant.
Got shipping notice for WW1 Failure, 1-troy-oz and WW1 Failure, 2-troy-oz. Oh boy!
Great, mine should be going out too.
Ordered the 1917 Peace Dollar and the 2 ounce WWI failure.
Mintage on the 1917 O/S has reached 96.
89 High Grade minted so far.
I still can't believe how nice the '17 Peace Dollar is. Wow, nearly my favorite (still is the Oregon Trail). This needs to be struck in Gold!
Well, just Love coins, period.

I believe it's just him and his wife. Could be a staff of hundreds but maybe not.
Saw this on Ebay, does not look like Carr made it:
"1964 DANEAL CARR SILVER PROOF PEACE DOLLAR"
ebay.com/itm/1964-DANEAL-CARR-SILVER-PROOF-PEACE-DOLLAR-/192098839599
I think the other pictures on EBay show the Proof-Like better. You can also tell by his "D" Mintmark.
I own one of these overstrikes.
I've gotta say that the detail on this piece is amazing!!
