So for you it's ok to insult someone who you don't like but for me it's wrong? Got it, hypocrite.
  • So let's sum up this little thread up to this point.

The OP calls an African-American a racial epithet (something he fully endorses, calling it, well, "tacky".)

The entire Sports Card Forum community points out his misstep (Note...The ENTIRE ! community, with no one supporting him)

Instead of doing the right thing and admitting his mistake, he continues to call him a racial epithet.

So the title of this thread should really say..........

"Try to have some class 1985fan" instead of "Stay classy Richard Sherman".

Funny how the OP is the poster child of classlessness, yet he calls on others to be "classy".

I think it's time for the racist to just go away, quietly, and as quickly as possible.

    Stay classy 1985fan, stay classy.

Thug is NOT a racial epithet.

Liar, liar, pants on fire image

I call Native Americans who like to settle disputes by going inside a steel cage so others can enjoy watching what damage
could be done to someone a savage. Like I said, if the shoe fits. image

BTW, even after you were made aware of the racial overtones of the term thug, you still do not relent from your racist views.
Even your sidekick Skin2 tried to convince you of your error.
So please, just go away racist, for your own good !

I'm not so sure you may come back using the N word if Seattle wins the Super Bowl.
You did say you hope the white man (Peyton Manning) destroys the black man in that game.
If Denver loses, your hatred may become uncontrollable, and you may regret the things that may come out of your mouth.
  • Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman said he was bothered and disappointed that he was called a "thug" after his crazed post-game rant on Sunday because he said it seems like "thug" is the "accepted way of calling somebody the N-word nowadays."

"The only reason it bothers me is because it seems like it's the accepted way of calling somebody the N-word nowadays," Sherman said in a press conference on Wednesday. "There was a hockey game where they didn't even play hockey, they just threw the puck aside and started fighting. I saw that, and said, 'Oh man, I'm the thug? What's going on here?'"

Talk about lying. You said savagery was in all Native Americans blood. I can grab the exact quote-we've saved it.

You're not good at this are you? I already said I was unaware of the current racial use of it (obviously as I have called Richie Incognito a thug too) and would not be using it again.

Again, a bald faced lie. I hope Denver the TEAM full of athletes of all races destroys the team full of adderall using loud mouths. Try again you racist.

    Richard Sherman fined for taunting

"Sherman's fine was confirmed by the league Friday.

Richard Sherman was fined was fined $7,875 for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting in the final minute of the NFC championship game against San Francisco.
Sherman was flagged after he made a choking gesture toward the San Francisco bench that he said was directed at quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Sherman had just deflected a pass intended for Michael Crabtree in the end zone that was intercepted by linebacker Malcolm Smith and clinched Seattle's 23-17 victory.

Sherman ran over and after tapping Crabtree on the backside and extended his hand for a handshake. Crabtree then shoved Sherman in the face. The All-Pro cornerback then made the choking gesture.

Sherman was the only player fined in the game.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell already had shared his displeasure with Sherman's rant."

Seems as if I wasn't alone in my finding his actions objectionable.

And even then, it shouldn't have been a fine. I see worse every week in my men's over 30 soccer league, and we're a division 4 team. When men compete, they often act poorly. The sooner we all come to grips with that the better off we'll all be.

No freaking way you can compare the two! Arod is arguably the biggest A-Hole ever to play the game, his own union bretheren want him to get the boot let alone what 99% of the fans think of him!

Your counterpoint here is sad like seriously sad.

I didn't attempt to demonize anyone I simply stated my opinion (in which I wasn't alone) that his postgame tirade was classless and the actions of someone who wasn't a professional.

You have condemned others for their conduct as well, but because you pile on unpopular athletes you think your point of view is more valid or mine has underlying racist tones (which couldn't be further from the truth).

But given your favorite football teams history of these pathetic outbreaks of classlessness (jj watts, others) its not surprising you're on Shermans jock.

  • Never admitted to racism a$$hole.

Just called WCK a savage for his wanting to let others enjoying watching what he'd do to me in a steel cage match.

George Washington was right once again about his people.

Too bad WCK couldn't find the higher ground in his debating skills, but instead reverted back to the savage ways
that Washington spoke of. How many full nelsons, flying drop kicks, and atomic drops do you think WCK wanted to
do to me in that steel cage while others enjoyed watching ??? Came from his mouth pal, and nobody elses.

He did compliment Manning during media week, but it's easy to miss it among all the non-football questions that get asked of the players.

<< <i>Manning showed the most class on the field in finding Sherman after the game and finding out if he was ok after his ankle sprain. Maybe Sherman can take Manning's humility and class and learn something from it. There's always hope. >>

Maybe you should read up on what Sherman had to say about Manning after the game. Pure class.

"He’s a Hall of Fame player, he’s a living legend, he’s a record-holding quarterback, he’s a Super Bowl champion, he’s been a Super Bowl MVP,” Sherman said of Manning."

"“Peyton is the Classiest person/player I have ever met! I could learn so much from him! Thank you for being a great Competitor and person,” Sherman wrote. “There is no reason to bash him on here please Seattle let’s just enjoy this one!!!! He is still a Future HOF player.” >>

He said that AFTER Manning searched him out. >>

Jesus. When is he supposed to say it? On media day? >>

If he's always thought so highly of Manning then why not make mention of it before this? Like I said...IMO this is all about rebuilding the dam after the late unpleasantness. >>

Why would he? What he said was in response to the fact that Manning took the time to check in on him after the game. I mean, come on-- you can't sneer at a guy at a guy for saying something after the game when the comments clearly exist in a post-game context.

This board cracks me up. Am I the only one here who's said or done something I regret when my blood's up? If I had a camera shoved in my face every time my pulse was at 130 and I'd just finished doing something competitive I'd come across like a freaking barbarian.
