Ok - for the autograph collectors:

    1935 Diamond Stars Fred Frankhouse

    image

1960 Topps Billy Martin (guaranteed to pass PSA - I personally had GAI encapsulate this at the AC national many years back... before the current reputation)

    image
    image

1977 TCMA Don Larsen, 1984 Topps Leaders Fergie Jenkins and 1995 Aficionado Andre Dawson

    image

Joe Montana Autographed Photo (from a large auction lot, previously PSA authenticated as a lot (so no individual sticker on this)).

    image

12 hours and no takers. Also adding a Shaq signed 5*7 color paper photo, matted to 8*10. Scans to come later.

This may violate thread etiquette, but could Milbroco and I split the lot? I really want the Frankhouser, and would be happy to see Bob grab the rest of the cards offered. I could add something to the next offering and Bob could do the same, but this might cause chaos. What do you all think?
  • DboneesqDboneesq Posts: 18,219 ✭✭
Brian ... I think things might get too confusing doing it that way. Down the line three people may want to split the lot, etc. Why dont you take it and work out a trade with Bob?

    Doug,

I don't disagree. That might be easier. Once the offeror confirms the lot is mine, I will dig in my card cabinet for my offering. Bob, pm me and we can work out something for what you want from the lot.

    Brian-

It's yours. Bob - if you want part of the lot and Brian agrees, let me know this week and I'll ship separate.

    Hi there,
Brian (Bkritz) and I worked out a solution. He is going to take the Frankhouse an I will take the rest. For his generosity, I will be the only one putting up the next lot. I will get it up tomorrow.
    Thanks,

I am delighted that this worked out for both Bob and me. I offered to send Bob a thank you card or two, but he declined. Now, if I can figure out what he collects, he may just get something in the mail, whether he wants it or not....

I only have two words for the condition of that Wyrotstek, and they are both "hubba."

  • milbrocomilbroco Posts: 2,731 ✭✭✭
Bkritz, I am thinking of resubbibg the Wyrostek and see what happens. I wonder if the centering is within PSA 9 tolerence and mabe get a straight 9 if I resub.................

Bob ... that would turn a $40 - $50 card into ~ a GRAND! HOWEVER, I do not believe the T/B centering would fall within the 65/35 parameter.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. I agree ... time to take down the current offer and put yup something else. Seems like the offer is usually taken faster when it's one or two more valuable cards that are being offered.

    Nathanael,

Card in hand safe and sound from up North.

    Thanks again.

I do not collect baseball anymore except for
    my beloved Senators & Nats.

But I always admired and respected Mr. Clemente.

Glad to add the card to my collection.

    Thanks again.
