BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ... lol. Have a safe night Manny.
STAY HEALTHY!
Doug
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
<< <i>I propose a new rule....if you take an item you must post up your offer within 6 hours of taking or forfeit the item taken. >>
I think 6 hours is too short a time frame. If I'm at work and I see something I like (while I should be working) I'd like to claim it but wouldn't be able to put something up right away.
I'm hoping this lot goes to an Indians fan. If there is no love for the lot, I will switch it up tomorrow night...just don't beat me up 50 Bowman Al Rosen PSA 5 52 Bowman Bob Feller PSA 3 (received it with a ding to bottom of case, does not affect the card though) 57 Topps Bob Lemon PSA
and will round it out with a 58 Topps Roger Maris rookie, PSA 5
edit: my pics were being stupid, so will try to post a new pic

AT&T is messing with lines in my area, so my internet is a mess tonight but yes, just pm me your address Brian and I will mail the 4 cards (maris, lemon, feller, rosen) tomorrow.
I am sorry, if you remember I do not know how to post. I will put some options up, and if nobody takes one, I will have someone scan for me tomorrow and post.
Choose one of the following lots:
Lot one: 1967 Topps Mays PSA 8 Lot two: Another Sandy Koufax signed ball Lot three: (5) different 1962 Mars Attacks PSA 6 Lot four: (14) different 1952 Topps commons avg VG/EX, T205 Corridon PSA 3, 1922 E120 American Caramel Burleigh Grimes PSA 2 Lot five: 1964 Topps Mantle PSA 7MC, 1968 Topps Mantle PSA 4 Lot 6: 2009 Playoff Contenders Blake Griffin Auto PSA 8, 1948 Leaf Jack Dempsey

I'm really excited to get that Aaron for my 73 set...but I just know now that I can't take another lot something I desparately need will pop up nice to see it rolling though!
OK>....here is what I am putting up....first card....won this from Clean Sweep Auctions not too long ago.....Thought it would grade a '5'.....PSA killed me and graded it a '3'....looks really nice though.....
2nd card......a rookie......maybe a HOFer....who knows...in PSA grade, the card sells for over $100. In SGC grade, you slice it in half...but who knows.....maybe it will go back up? GEM MINT 10 in SGC.
3rd card....another rookie....the best running back of all time. A card that everyone should have in their collection. SGC 4. A couple of tiny cracks on the back of the case. Earl told me it would cost $5 to reholder. I don't do enough business with SGC to get it reholdered. Maybe you do?
If these 3 cards aren't up to par, I can change them out.....I got all kinds of stuff laying around.....
couple of house cleaning rules to go over in light of recent posts..
1-original rules say that a person has 24 hours to post their lot. Lessening it to 6 or even 9 would knock out a lot of people--many of whom put up nice lots. I work, have kids and don't get home till late very often, then out the door in the AM. 24 hours is reasonable--absent extenuating circumstances. If I can't--I inform the members of what's up. That's reasonable.
2-I do not think that any lot should be added to, or changed for 48 hours. The original rules say that if no lot is picked in 24 hours, then anyone can grab it--even if they have won a lot in the past 7 days. Under the rules, if you win a lot, you have to wait 7 days to claim another-
I say stick to the original rules--things are going nicely

I agree....someone might want a football display box, but would have to wait........it would give everyone a chance.....as to say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
