Changing it up here....maybe someone would prefer to get thier own balls signed.

Offer is now this lot of 3 new unsigned balls:
1993 Official World Series Baseball (Blue Jays/Phillies Joe Carter year)
1998 Official World Series Baseball (Yankees/Padres)
    ONLB Bartlett Giamatti ball

  • That is a great offer for an auto collector. I am sure someone will take those. I am a little tempted myself.

That's how I requested my Sharapova auto at a shopping mall show, and I ended up with a face full of pepper spray.

Really? I did not have a problem. In fact, she took her time when signing. I guess I was really lucky.......................................then the alarm went off.

I can really only make use of the 1998 ball. If the other 2 were American League I would be all over his balls image

Seriously though these are nice. I am surprised they are still there.

Anyone like vending fresh PSA 9s with a couple notables?

Also, I will add this signed Steve Garvey majestic jersey I got signed at Caesars palace in Vegas. Steve G was a childhood hero and was awesome to talk to, but I think I had had too much to drink because I don't collect signed jerseys....

  • Cool jersey. Someone should love to have that.

Crazy rules...if it is still here 3 days from now I am all over it!

That should be gone in like 5 minutes...I am suprised it is still here!

WOW! That's a great offer you have up Brian. I was going to take it (but probably would have wound up selling the lot down the line) but I am going to leave it here and HOPEFULLY the person who takes it is a big Garvey Fan.

I think that is a really cool lot. I just do not collect hockey. My wife would kill me if I started hanging large hockey sticks around the house image

I haven't taken anything in this thread but have considered it a few times & watch quite often but I have to agree. He took a beautiful limited run jersey and some nice psa 9 cards and isn't offering anything comparable. Cheap cards, ungraded tickets that don't really matter, and a couple of balls and one is of a player that no one probably gives a crap about. This is why the thread derails. I think a rule should be added that after 3 tries if no one wants your crap then you have to put the original lot back up for grabs. That would add some incentive to put something equally as good up for grabs!!! JMHO

I have taken a few lots and couldnt agree more with the above, might be time for a disclaimer
added to the few rules there are.

  • Isn't the Yogi Berra signed ball a good offering though?

I do not collect autographs at all, so I don't know what the ball is worth...... but it seems like something a person who does collect them would want.....

Edited to add: Strangely, the one and only autographed card I currently own happens to be the one and only lot I have claimed in this thread (Duke Snider '54 Bowman auto) image

Maybe a new lot every 72 hours so the thread doesn't get derailed for more than a grand total of 9 days before the original lot goes back up. Anybody have any other ideas to tweak this for the better?
