PCGS needs to make a special submission form for these sets. My hands are all knotted-up from trying to fit all the info for each coin in the tiny space provided. Just a thought.
<< PCGS posted the following information today regarding grading of the 25th Anniversary set. All 5 coins will be eligible for First Strike. The cutoff date is Nov. 27th.>>
So then both PCGS and NGC have a 30-day cutoff for FS/Early Releases eligibility...regardless of keeping the box sealed. Based on earlier postings, I thought only NGC had a 30-day cutoff.

Win some lose some .. needn't worry ...there is still a whole lot orders that will still go thru cc verification. some orders will get tossed for lack of valid credit card
Just to be clear in my mind.....if I join PCGS Platinum club for $199 I will get 8 free submissions. If I'm reading the description of this level correctly, I can submit the "S" mint and the RP for 25th anniversary and 1st strike designations from opened boxes. I have four boxes coming so that would make up my 8 submissions. I do understand that the 1st strike designation will still run another $18 per coin x 8 = $144 + $199 = $343 total cost for grading. Is my math correct? Can I use a new membership to grade these since they are all in the same category and would be submitted together?

Two of mine say shipped on the mints website, the tracking number is valid but when I click to track it just states info will be available when it gets to them at UPS. Looks like the Mint is processing orders in the order that they were rec'd, regardless of quantity.
Two boxes just arrived, for supposedly single sets the boxes are huge. Looks like you could fit fives sets in each box? I posted yesterday that two orders showed shipped and the weights were 4.2 and 8.2 for single sets.

You did very well!! You've got one on the way :-)
<< <i>So anyone get a tracking # from the mint and an email yet when you try and check the status with UPS, it shows it as not being a valid number?? >>
Two of mine say shipped on the mints website, the tracking number is valid but when I click to track it just states info will be available when it gets to them at UPS. I'm guessing they printed a lot of labels today but there not in UPS hands yet. Some probably are but they would need a semi to pick them all up.
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
1st strike designations from opened boxes. I have four boxes coming so that would make up my 8 submissions. I do understand that the 1st strike designation will still run another $18 per coin x 8 = $144 + $199
= $343 total cost for grading. Is my math correct? Can I use a new membership to grade these since they are all in the same category and would be submitted together?
Please....would really like someone to let me know if this is an accurate and economical way to submit......I like the idea of being able to open the boxes and cherrypick before submission....

I had 5 sets that were in stock and reserved with no cancel box and my cc charged, and the mint cancelled them today. So they are still cancelling orders.
<< <i>Just to be clear in my mind.....if I join PCGS Platinum club for $199 I will get 8 free submissions. If I'm reading the description of this level correctly, I can submit the "S" mint and the RP for 25th anniversary and

Silver $49
8 @ $14
8 @ $18
= $305 so I think you save $40 by using the Silver membership.
You also have to pay shipping and an $8 processing fee either way.

Yes order at 12:17 and tracking is dead. I think they shipped us last today so we didn't get in the system yet.

Interesting, I got my order in at around 5:33 eastern but I didn't get that email.
I think that means I'm not on the waiting list so you shouldn't be too far into the waiting list.
There may be hope
<< <i>Hmmm, my order at 6:00pm est is still BO. It's for a couple of sets. Do you think the Mint is whacking the "5 set" orders after a certain time. ie., 5:00pm, then going to the "4 sets" working their way down? >>
Looks like the Mint is processing orders in the order that they were rec'd, regardless of quantity.
