Production of United States Mint American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins continues to be temporarily suspended because of unprecedented demand for American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. Until recently, all available silver bullion blanks were being allocated to the American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin Program, as the United States Mint is required by Public Law 99-61 to produce these coins “in quantities sufficient to meet public demand . . . .”
Although the demand for precious metal coins remains high, the increase in supply of planchets—coupled with a lower demand for bullion orders in August and September—allowed the United States Mint to meet public demand and shift some capacity to produce numismatic versions of the American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin.
However, because of the continued demand for American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins, 2010-dated American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins will not be produced.
The United States Mint will resume production of American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins once sufficient inventories of silver bullion blanks can be acquired to meet market demand for all three American Eagle Silver Coin products. >>

Possibly setting the stage to remove this: "TBD American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin" from the "2011 Scheduled Products Listing". And I was looking forward to those.... you beat me to it

Well, it looks like PCGS finally admitted their error on my shipment and is sending me free submission vouchers. I actually got my 2nd ATB submission before I got my 1st? The 2nd sub was sent 5 days later!?! My 1st set looks like it will finally ship today! Good news for me is I got nothing but 69PLs and a few 68DMPLs!!!

34.90 is correct, but he is taking an old quote regarding ASEs and placing it into the present. As far as I know, the Mint has not run out of bullion blanks. It's old news that the 2010 collector unc. ASEs will not be made. Right now we're waiting for news on the 2011s! Surprising that with all of the banter in the comments, only a few actually called the author out on these mistakes...

This is going to affect the 2010 Pucks, hopefully they are already made, if not maybe they wont be. Will definitely increase demand on the 2011, something is going to give. Its A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World!!!---------------BigE

So what happens to one bullion program will not effect another bullion program. How about the bullion shortages in 09. I say the ASE shortage may effect the 2011 ATB mintages so it is related.

I did in a small box about 4"X4". Now in AIR TITES, then the air tites inside the bubble wrap slips, then in the box with a little bit of foam. Much better then before.

these were unscreened. I have a few friends, family, and coworkers that went in on these sets. We sent most of them into get graded and will split any profits across the board. I did not cherry-pick these mainly because I wanted to get them into pcgs asap, so I took them out of the fedex package and put them in a box to PCGS, in the bubble wrap from fidelitrade. I will not do that again.
Well, an NGC 70 has crept up...how long do you think it will be before pcgs starts giving out those? I may wait a couple of weeks before I submit more just in case. Linkydink

WOW, a PCGS can't be far behind....
I say that it will bring $6K. Any other guesses??
Also, it looks to me like there is a visible spot/ding near the "C" in Calif. as well as the usual swath of a different grain (for lack of a better term) near the rim from about 9 - 11 o'clock. I don't see how this is a true 70. May well be in response to the DMPLs. The ER deadline is past but they still are likely grading ones that arrived w/in the deadline. This may have been graded after word of the DMPLs got out.

Gotta love these tit for tat games between the TPGs. Makes you wonder how many coins graded in 69, that are undoubtedly experiencing a fall in price, might actually get regraded as 70s.
I don't think $6k is too far off. It's already at $1k with 6 days to go.

Games indeed. They are supposed to be objective, but I think that this has been pushed.
I'd love to see a nicer, high-res. photo of this coin. That said, I think that it is clear that this is no 70. Look at your MS70s. They are flawless. This is not.

Four of the replacements were nice in appearance, but not SUBMIT ME nice.
One of the replacements was heavily scratched on the reverse rim. A BB for sure.

YIKES!!!! Bummer that they were not shipping in Air-Tites from day one :-(
<< <i>Well, an NGC 70 has crept up...how long do you think it will be before pcgs starts giving out those?
I may wait a couple of weeks before I submit more just in case.

What a crock! Total B.S.!

Gotta love these tit for tat games between the TPGs. Makes you wonder how many coins graded in 69, that are undoubtedly experiencing a fall in price, might actually get regraded as 70s.
I don't think $6k is too far off. It's already at $1k with 6 days to go.
I'd love to see a nicer, high-res. photo of this coin. That said, I think that it is clear that this is no 70. Look at your MS70s. They are flawless. This is not.
<< <i>One upsmanship. NGC PL, ok then.....PCGS DMPL.........NGC MS70, ok then......PCGS MS70PL.......NGC ???, ok then PCGS ????????? >>
The next innovation should be MS70+
