So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Dpeck was right on the money on these. Does anyone reading this thread have a tattoo on their lower back that reads "Whatcha gonna do brother"
Was the negative feedback you received in December 2003 "Returned Item - Not as Advertised - Immitation - Will not buy from again, ever!!" for a private auction male pornography dvd's you were selling? I'm asking for board member Dizzle who is too afraid to ask you, also he wanted to know if you still have copies?

This thread has been a ton of fun. I have a guy that collects ALF dolls, Star Trek, Beanie Babies and other bizarre items heckle me and hi jack my legit EBAY auction.
I have guys with 25% body fat making fun of my appearance.

Yeah, what loser collects ALF dolls, Star Trek, Beanie Babies and other bizarre items? Must be a real dork with no life unlike someone that collects images of sweaty guys that like to rub up against each other.
And the loser Barf shows up!! Dude those pics of your room are mind blowing!! Thanks for getting my EBAY auction removed. I fixed it and it is back up and running smooth!
Seriously bro you must be the biggest loser of all time!!

Your eBay auction got pulled? Can't imagine how and can't imagine why you would think this loser has that kind of pull on eBay. I'm flattered that you think so though.
I came here in good faith to provide information. These guys took this to a different level.
If these clowns can make fun in tons of posts you better believe they are getting it back two fold.
I have a guy with ALF dolls poking fun at me. He has beanie babies on his shelf. And they have the nerve to make fun of my looks, my very sexy wife. Sorry bro not happening.

Now where did I make fun of your looks or have anything to say about your wife? And I really don't know how I'm poking fun at you bro. You want to collect cards of sweaty men that like to rub up against each other, no skin off my back. Heck I collect all kinds of crap (collect is the key word and it's a life long collection) so have fun with what you collect.
And I'm still trying to figure out what auction you claim I had eBay remove? I'm just some loser (as you claim) so not sure how I could have any influence on what eBay does.

1) Did Jake the Snake's snake really die when Yokozuna (sp?) jumped on it? As a child watching these actors I was really convinced.
2) Also, do wrestlers have to wax their bikini areas? Or does the cooking oil on the pecs redirect attention so much so that it's not necessary?
3) Do you collect wrestling memorabilia? It seems like there's a constant parade of 'old time' wrestling stars who tour incessantly trying can't make ends meet willing to fall on glass etc. during fights (well some wrestlers that didn't die 40 years early are doing that). Doesn't this make you a little sad?
<< <i>You have a very short memory. Why don't you go back and read this thread. >>
Short memory on what? Never made fun of your looks or your wife.
Poke a little fun? Yeah, probably (don't care to re-read everything here) but you know what? We all poke fun at each other from time to time on here. Big deal.
So if you can pinpoint where I made fun of your looks or your wife steer me in that direction.
you told us to look at pics of you and your wife as if it were proof of your coolness or whatever. If some people happen to not share the same opinion of your wife's looks as you do, you can't get bent out of shape about it.
Frankly, I care about your wife's looks about as much as I care about what kind of hair removal cream Ric Flair uses on his balls. All I know is that YOU are one super cool MMMMFFFFFF!!!
<< <i>I found another pic of his "wife"... YIKES! Let's just say they are meant for each other. lol
I had no problem with you guys having fun at my expense.
This is the only comment that bothered me. >>
Told you it wasn't me. Not my style as I feel that innocent family members shouldn't be dragged into internet squabbles.
Want to poke fun at my crap I collect or me, I don't care. I know what I collect isn't everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy what I collect. The Beanies, yeah that's some funny stuff but unlike the people that shelled out obscene bucks on those I picked up for $1 or less just to put in my museum of trash. ALF, they were a quarter. Star Trek, grew up watching it and still enjoy it and my love of the show has been passed on to my wife and oldest child. Heck we shelled out over $700 just to have the complete DVD collection of Star Trek The Next Generation when it first came out.
And those sweaty guys you like to collect I also grew up watching them as well. Great memories as for me it was so much more entertaining then what it is now. Couple years back I tried to watch a pay per view with my brother and all I could do was laugh the whole time at the wrestlers and him.

What you are missing is I love collecting things. I never would have come on here and even dreamed of making fun of what people like. That is not my style at all.
I was hit with a barage of negativity and when certain people had to bring my family into this little deal that was a little much.
I would imagine that some of the stuff in that room is quite valuable just like these wrestling cards.
I have a hard time watching current wrestling but I will certainly say, that the wrestling from the 80's was awesome! I still every once in a while sit around and have some drinks and watch the DVD's. I did not have cable growing up so I did not get to see much of the good stuff. Once I became an adult I had enough resources to buy the DVD's and have a lot of fun watching it on a big screen.
I came on here to share my knowledge of this unique set of cards. That was it.

Some of my junk has some decent value to it and others, well it's pretty obvious. But that's not why I collect. Each item tends to be from a certain point in my life so some things are very special. Others are just items that were to good of a deal to pass up and maybe someday before I'm to old I'll start to part with some items.
As for 80's wrestling, we did have cable so I did get to see a good amount of it. Like I said great memories. I had known about these cards you like for sometime and just never got around to picking any up but looks like I've added a few recently. Just going for guys that I loved watching. Hulk, Andre The Giant, Flair ain't ones that I ever really enjoyed so have little interest in picking them up. They are cool cards though so you sparked my interest in picking up a few to add to my mess.
What is so unique about these sets is that performers that you would not thing would bring heavy interest do.
I got interested in these by chance. I collected Baseball and some Basketball for most of my life. I just happened to search for Hulk Hogan a year and some ago and found them. I had zero knowledge about these cards. Once I got them in the mail I was hooked and started buying up all I could.
The part that makes them so interesting is that you can't find sealed sets anywhere. You can get sealed sets of almost any major set of cards at a certain price. With these you can't. That limits the ability to find high grade cards.
I have a set of the 82B coming this week sealed. I paid $325 for it from Jerome who I bought my sealed 82A from. I am taking a big chance becuase of the way they were sealed.
I love the story behind them and think it makes for a great set of cards to collect. When I said I had the largest collection I was not making that up. There are not many sets of cards a small retail guy like me can say that for. I think it is exciting and that is really all that counts.
Roddy Piper would fight him. He may have had a mouth...but he would back it up by getting in the ring. (And then usually tried to just get away from the other guy rather then fight him...but still).

Piper was smart. He got into acting and made a fortune. Guys like Ric Flair who I love watching are broke. Piper has health issues but a ton of dough from what I understand.
