Don't if you are worried send the pack into be graded... I just asked Steve what thought the packs would grade:

All the packs would probably be 8's and 9's. Look for any pinhole tears and such. There really shouldn't be any however as the box was awesome!

the last PSA 9 Pack on ebay sold for $399.00

there is also a chance you could get the Jordan sticker pack (which I think you can see).... Those would sell for even more!

might have to bust one and then decide on #2. so hard to NOT look.
for a warmup, i opened 15 packs of 1987 OPC baseball. got a lot of stale gum and a Mickey Hatcher.

it looks like all 36 packs have been paid for as well- that is very impressive

I hope lots of MJs get pulled and lots of centered cards show up in the packs.

That is the key in my limited pack opening. The corners are razor sharp it is just the centering is what determines the grade on most cards.

the gum will not even damage the card on top and all you have to do is wipe off the powder from the big piece of gum.

I beg to differ. I could not have all that unopened stuff around me and actually sell it. I would walk through the warehouse every day just grabbing random packs to bust.

If I was there, I would be like Tony Montana from Scarface, but instead of cocaine all over my face, it would be the powder from all the gum in the packs! image

I'm in Seattle so by the time I get my pack, I'll pretty much know if I have any chance at all. If three Jordans have already been pulled, maybe I'll just get it slabbed.

I'm guessing that the odds of pulling some kind of Jordan is about 19% at this point. Pretty exciting!!

Centering on the cards is fairly poor...there are a few cards that are close to centered, but not many.

As mentioned earlier, the corners are PERFECT...it's the centering that is the problem.

However, the centering on the stickers appears to be much better.

If someone can post instructions on how to add scans to messages I can post a few scans.

a nicely centered Kareem sticker could be interesting.

You potentially have some cards in your rip that could get you some money back, depending on the centering. The Kareem sticker, Maurice Lucas, Checklist, are all tough cards.

Opened my best centered pack. Pulled an Olajuwon rookie but no Jordan. The odds are getting better and better for those that haven't opened. I will be opening the other two packs in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately the top card centering for those packs is very, very OC. The corners on the cards in the pack I opened were excellent, I think this box was kept in very good shape.

I am in need of the following cards for my RAW set:

    #18 Wayne Cooper
    #26 Clyde Drexler
    #27 Joe Dumars

    and the following stickers:

    #4 Alex English
    #5 Julius Erving
    #10 Isiah Thomas

THEY DO NOT have to be fresh from a pack ... if you already have ones I'd be interested as well.

    PLEASE PM ME.

    THANKS!!!!!!
