    ebay search

They seem to start at around $10 for 9s, but range from $10-ish to $60-ish.

If you like anyone else please ask - most of the key rookies and stars in PSA 9 go fro around $40-75 with 8's coming in much less. Also if you hit a lower pop PSA 10 you also make very good money (see the Johnny Moor price at the bottom!!!)

The set does very well but sometimes auctions get missed and people get deals... I really think most cards will sell for high VCP price if the cards fixed price auctions... if someone needs the card to finish or start a set they will pay if your card is the only game in town.

If you look at the data on sales the cards go up and down sale by sale.

I have a question- If I do go ahead and get a pack to try and finish the last nine slots is it ok if I do not open my pack??

I have pulled two MJ rookies in my life this decade(both from BBCK at the Sun times/National). Once at the Sun Times four of us played pack wars and sure enough myself and another man pulled a MJ. He pulled his first and it was centered pretty well but I knew it was not a ten at first glance He was excited then I opened my pack and realized pretty quick my pack was similiar to his pack and that MJ was just a few cards away and mine was pretty clean as well but more OC. We agreed to let the true winner get all the cards minus the MJ. We just didnt want to take each others MJ due to the second highest value card. Well his got a BGS 9 and mine got a BGS 8.5. I would have won with an Akeem Olajuwon Sticker. I often wish I would have thought to say the winner gets his choice of the jordans but I did get four clean packs of cards + one MJ 8.5 for the price of 250.00 so it was a great day.

In that SAME box a BGS GEM MINT got pulled the following day and sold for 17K at that very show. I always think I had a one in three chance of pulling the holy grail in GEM MINT condition. I saw the card after BGS graded it and it looked flawless to me.

There will be three or four people that leave this break with a memory that can not be erased. It is a feelign like no other to see that card staring back at you.

I have busted about ten packs in my life(all from the nationals or chicago based shows) and pulled two MJ rookies in my life so I would like to own another pack that I can guarantee is unsearched(BBCE) but not sure I want to bust it.

I want to also say back then it was not that difficult to get your money back from a pack because PSA 9s sold for 30.00

I had one pack that yeilded a Karl Malone and Jabbar PSA 9(250.00 + 170.00 and six PSA 9 commons). However, the prices have changed since then and dont follow them at all actually.

Is the Jeff Malone card still a tough card to get in high grade?? Checklist??

sorry so long just let me know if that will be ok and I am in because I won some dough playing texas hold em and want this group rip to happen. I think it will be an amazing thing to see unfold.

I just thought it was a group break and wanted to be up front that I prolly would not open it. I just didnt want people to wonder where the 36th pack was that didnt get scanned/opened.

Alright if that is the case I am in guys.

Wow! I'm very impressed that you guys sold this out!

I've been subbing 86 Fleers on and off since 1999...and sometimes I do think that 10s were given out alot more frequently back then.

I got a few PSA 10 commons in the past(World B Free is one I got and I believe two other not so rare PSA 10s at the time). I prolly submitted a total of about 50 cards from packs I opened myself and got all the 10s from unopened wax. I had a lot of 100 cards or so submitted back in 2003 or 2004 that got about 80% 9s but no 10s the lot. They were clean but had been opened almost two decades earlier and must have had slight touches under a loupe. I do not use a loupe and prolly should learn but again at the time the PSA 9s were about 30.00 per card so I made a good profit on the submission.

The PSA 10s at the time sold for about 175.00 per card and not much difference between a PSA 9 or PSA 10 IMHO. I had 9s that looked better than the World B Free IMHO.

What is Steve's paypal address or would he rather I call up and give him a credit card #? Probably should call him as I may also be paying him for a 77 Topps FB vending box and would like to combine shipping.

Agree, thanks Jasen for your efforts. I don't expect to pull a Jordan buying only one pack, but I've always wanted to rip one of these packs. Never had confidence that I was getting a real pack with a legitimate shot at a Jordan. At least I know these are the real deal. It will be a blast to see a few fortunate people pull a Jordan. Just a blast!

Steve will be taking a video of the packs being packed up and shipped out... he'll post a link once he does it.

It would be kind of cool if some of the people getting packs would be willing to video their rip.
