For $277 a pack...I have a couple questions for those who have busted a lot of this -

What is the typical centering on the 86 Fleer? Hopefully not like 75 Topps minis.

Is the centering usually consistent through the entire box?

How many cards in a pack?

Does the front of the last card in the pack face the wax seal (where the wax will come off) or have the back facing the seal where you end up with wax stains on the back of the card?

i purchased some 86 fleers wax packs from someone who had a full box graded and the centering varied....i popped a gem 10 and some of the other cards i have yet to send into PSA to get graded can also be 10's imo, i also cracked from the same box a pack that had horrible centering lol...and the sad part was there was a dominique wilkins that had great egdes , corners and surface, except on the centering , lol...but honestly from the wax i have cracked from a full box, i would venture out and say most would be better than bad....this is my humble opinion

each pack has 12 reg issued cards and 1 sticker, the sticker on the back has the wax on it

The 86 Fleer checklist is one of my all time favorite cards. Whoever pulls one, I'd appreciate first crack at it.

If this helps anyone: I have opened quite a few boxes of 86 Fleer Bskt, IT is a no brainer 10 out of 11 packs are great your odds on a Jordan Rc are like 1 in 11, same odds with all the superstars/rc's. true centering varies but most of the time the worst is 70/30, I have always considered this to be like a sure bet unless your luck sucks and you get that 1 ugly pack out of 11. Every box of pure clean 86 fleer I opened had at least 3 of everyone and sometimes 4. If I had the money I would go for at least 4 or 5, but I am so broke , I have to go and beg for quarters to supply my booze and drug habit. Hope this helps and please paypal me some money for brooze and other things (like toilet paper). JMHO

thinking about odds in terms of sucker bets in vegas. you have a 1/11 chance at a jordan which will pay something like 2:1 on your 270 investment. that's worse than the wheel of fortune, right? maybe everyone should pool their cash and send someone to put it on black and spin the roulette wheel once instead

How about both? Bet on a Gem Jordan and play cards. Only blackjack! I have it down where the house only has 1.5 to 2.0% advantage when you play correctly. When your bets are larger you can clean up. Took casino's last year for over 60 Large. Going to AC in two weeks.... Can't wait.

I will officially close this down on Friday... if the packs are not sold out by then everyone is on their own and contact BBCE to buy single packs from them directly. I've not confirmed this but I'd be surprised if BBCE was not willing to extend the same offer to us on individual orders.

And I love Vegas just as much as anything but for me I would still rather rip open a nice pack than play BJ or spin the wheel!
