Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Thanks. I'm not 100% sure it's real, his daughter I think wrote a note that said sorry that he can't personally respond to all requests, but then there was another note saying thanks for the donation- BD so seems like that would be from him so I dunno who signed the thing. John

The Dudley looks good. Matches up with several of the examples that I have. The only consistent difference is the break between the "l" and the "e" as on all of mine he breaks between the "d" and the "l" and the upwards tail on the "y" as mine have no tail. It exhibits most of the characteristics, though and given his age, I would expect some variation from time to time. I do need to get out a Leaf RC to him soon, though, as well as a few other non-HOFers in the set.
Added a George Conner signed Leaf (not TTM, though as he passed 5 years ago).
John, if you come across any other signed '48 Leafs (or get dupes) let me know (dying for Luckman and Baugh). I'd love to swap with you...
Yes, working on the '48 Leaf set signed. Have Turner, Connor, Wistert, McAfee, Banonis, Bednarik, Suhey, Fischer, Moss, Brennan, Martin, Zimmerman, Nolan, White, Tripucka and Hart. Still need to get Trippi and Dudley mailed out (actually need to buy an extra of each card to send) and VanBuren, Baugh and Pihos, while still alive, are unable to anymore.
I think the auto set is the by-product of building the regular and master set in the PSA Registry. The problem is that many of the players are deceased and the autos on this issue are rarely offered. But please, keep me in mind if you see any.
I'm still actively searching for another Bednarik to get signed. If/when I do, you're first on the list for the one I already have.
I think it looks good. It has all the same features as mine. I've also looked at a certified Topps autograph I have and it looks the same. He may have been in a hurry though since it looks a little shakey.

I just sent the card to Largent on the 10th...so he is obviously still signing. I wonder if the person who received his request RTS tried sending more than one card. I've heard that Largent will only sign once card at a time.
Crazy Tom McDonald was signing last year (at a small show in PA I think) and the fee was $20 per auto. I sent the card via mail order and got a great signature.
I just remembered - I do have one more HOF rc...a 1989 Score Bruce Matthews that was just signed at the show last month in Houston.
I have 7 or 8 out still...plus another 20+ waiting to be mailed out (I just need the money to include with them....lol...).

I always wonder if the politician's autograph TTM (Largent) is legit because of the number of secretaries and interns that he has working for him. Does he really have time to sign fan mail as well as handle the responsibility of an elected official?
<< <i>I always wonder if the politician's autograph TTM (Largent) is legit because of the number of secretaries and interns that he has working for him. Does he really have time to sign fan mail as well as handle the responsibility of an elected official? >>
I thought Largent was back in the private sector... I know that he's been signing pretty consistently for the past 2 months after being off the radar for nearly 6 months.
Bunning has been increasingly difficult and RTS is more common than success as he "didicates" more time to his political responsibilities.
McDonald hasn't been signing TTM for about a year (to my knowledge).
Just got some nice returns from Marchetti and Berry. Also, found a nice lot that I bought including signed RC's of Jim Parker '59 Topps), John Henry Johnson ('55 Bowman), Pete Pihos ('48 Leaf), Bulldog Turner ('48 Leaf) and Alex Wojciechowcz ('48 Bowman). Still looking for '48 Leaf Luckman, Baugh, VanBuren, Walker, Conerly, Jim White and Nomellini (and always looking for '48 Leafs to add to my auto'd set)

No extras... Sorry. These are all "firsts" for my set.
Getting ready for a second round on some of the '48 Leafs (Moss, Trippi, McAfee, Wistert, Savitsky, and Taliaferro - sorry no extra Bednarik and still need an Enke).
I was excited to grab the Jim Parker and Wojo as I haven't seen too many of their RC's signed. Pihos and Turner are for the '48 Leaf set, but double for the HOF. JHJ was just because he's stopped signing and the price was reasonable at $25.
