Timlin has got to go! I cringe each time I see him come into a game. I will predict that unless he has a sensational turn around in his pitching abilities, that he won't close the season with the Red Sox. I think he's 42, time to hang up the spikes, he's out of gas. As soon as I saw him come in last night I heard Dandy Don singing "Turn out the lights..."
I'll be very surprised if Musina can hold the Red Sox tonight. Sox even the series and hopefully Ortiz gets going.
so Beckett has what, one more Spring Training start after this one? He's got to get that stamina up to the 90-100 effective pitch level. Still a sight better than Mussina.
