As wonderful as it was to see the Sox win, I was equally pleased to hear McCarver shut his yap when Papelbon came out for the bottom of the 9th. They made it sound like the Sox were acutally going to bring someone else in to close the game.

I do think Drew should be moved to #5 in the order...best maintains the R-L-R thing that Francona prefers. Also, with Manny hitting the way he has been, Ortiz is in the best spot to get the pitches he needs to see in order to break out.
Sweeet! Obviously its not cool having Papi take in some pine time but he is really struggling so hopefully this will take care of that. Let him chill out and get his confidence back- he is a veteran so it shouldnt take long.
