Here are mine, need help on one 1899-o and the other is a 1886 3+2 in PCGS 65 unattributed. I didnt want to add all the pics here and slow the thread down.
1878-S TOP 30 VAM 28 NGC-63. 1878-S TOP 30 VAM 28 NGC-64. Both from the same collection, unattributed with nearly identical irridescent toning on both sides of both coins.
1921-D VAM-1D AU-50-ish...mid die state, with the break over M and in the denticles, but the one in the denticles over 'F' in 'OF' not complete yet...one of the most broken Morgan dies I've ever seen!

There's a VAM you can't pass up if it has some problems, especially around that grade. And at that price? It would be: "$20 and keep the change." Congrats!

Heritage was kind to me last night: - I was top bidder on the unattributed 1889-O VAM-2 Oval O in PCGS MS62 - Everybody missed the 1884-O in PCGS MS65 (OGH), VAM-35 Hot 50..got it for common or a bit less. Top pop!
<< <i>Some awesome show pickups from Top50SetBuilder.

I blew off Heritage and Teletrade yesterday completely. Picked up an unattributed 84-O VAM-35 in PCGS 65 OGH, but for a little over bid not long back. Had to pay a consignor's high TT reserve price to get it.

Couple really good coins, that 89-O is really tough in MS. Not sure what the PCGS pops are but at NGC only 3 have been graded as MS with 62 being the highest with one of the 3. Great finds.
I picked up a toned (the kind you want to dip) PCGS MS64 1878 7TF R79 VAM 203 for $100 under Grey Sheet. Funny how that made the toning not seem so unattractive.
1878-S VAM-78 MS64 1921-D VAM-BG MS63 1921 .... damned scribbling scratches, need to figure which one it is (nice lustre)
before that all: 1886-O VAM-11A PCGS MS61 and an 1887 NGC MS63 that I got because the date crack was similar to the VAM-1B. I was fully aware it was not a VAM-1B but was intrigued enough to buy it anyway.
I picked up an unattributed 1878 S VAM76 yesterday at the nearby B&M. Paid $70 for it. Nice MS coin, and a Hit List 40 to boot. (Thought it was a VAM 50 when I cherried it, but 76 aint a bad find either.
<< <i>I cherried an 1878-S MS64 PCGS VAM 19A the other day. It's so pretty I can hardly stand it. >>
I have two of these, and they're both very attractive. The reverses have lots of contrast, but because of extra frosty devices rather than mirrored fields. IIRC, one was passed around the "VAM table" at the FUN PCGS Collector's Club lunch in 2007 that was in a 67 or 68 holder. I think it was Lloyd's.
The one I just got has a fairly deep-dish obverse with "I'm trying to be PL" surfaces, a killer strike, and a fair amount of die polishing. There are still some clashing remnants in front of the neck, chin and lips, and behind the cap. A rim crack is also splitting the E in E PLURIBUS. The reverse is slightly dished, doesn't have as much die polish, and isn't as semi-PL as the obverse. But every time I flip it back over to the obverse I smile at how pretty it is.
Ohio State NA show: A generally terrible show. Was coordinated at the same time as a breast cancer walk which has the street blocked off! I did get a chance to talk with John Roberts though. 1888 O Hot Lips VF - $19 Edited to add: 1890 VAM 15A AU - $20
TT pickup arrived: 1878-S VAM-91 NGC MS64, an R6 variety. Struck on a striated planchet and toned in subtle colors so it has a weird look to it. Another one off of the check list. Kept finding VAM-48 and VAM-84 examples of this reverse and now, finally, a VAM-91.

Didnt know she was a VAM 58 until I got her in the mail.
To date, I've found the VAM 26 & 27 and three coins I still cannot attribute.
Also, a Raw BU 1888-0 Vam 1A, very Early Die state...Another first, since the few I have are all LDS's.

Thank you, Jack.....yes, the coin is a LDS and has all features, including the diagnostic break at the 2nd left star.
There is also what appears to be an interesting chip on the reverse above the "A" in states.
Thx again,
