Here's the V8 I cherried. Got it out of a 150 coin "silver Peace lot" the dealer was selling whole. Since I came late to the show he said he'd sell me anything out of the bag for $15. Towards the end of the search I found the V8. Funny thing was, half way through my search he came up to me and told me if I was looking for Vams, there were none in there as he had searched them all.
I pulled 5 BU (MS62/63) 1921 P VAM 1E (Hot 50 Pitted Reverse) and two other BU (62/63) 21P Pitted Reverses (haven't ID'd them yet since I can't get into VAMWorld) out of a dealer's melt bucket for $18 bucks each.

Just found a Hot 50 1888-S VAM-6A Pitted reverse MS-62 raw.
It appears to be an earlier die-state from the one pictured on Vamworld. But the pitted reverse dots are there including the bar thru the upper loop of the S mint mark and the "pimples" in the nostril.
Upon further examination it is the VAM-6C and is a later (polished) die state then the 6A. The clashed 's' is clearly visible on the Obv. along with the Front Eye gouge. I'm a noob. Still learning this VAM attribution game. But Vamworld is an excellent site!

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.
