Excellent. Those long nocks have eluded me pretty darn well. I have only actually cherried one. Had to buy all the others alreayd attributed by someone. But helping make a 2-way VAM market is a little satisfying too.

Got some from Heritage. A couple DMPLs that I'll wait until they are in hand to check attributions. Also got the 80-P VAM-9 PCGS 63 and 80-S VAM-9 PCGS 66 in the internet auction. Got outbid in the final FUN sale on the 81-S VAM-54 (NGC 64*) and the 82-O VAM-7 (PCGS 64PL). Today got the 87 VAM-13 (NGC 66) but the client wasn't working after that and I missed on several others that I would have overbid the winning bids at least.
In the mail fromTT came an 81-O VAM-1B (NGC 61) thatupgrades my ANACS XF45 I found raw. Other nice TT cherries have to arrive for me to verify still.

After going through a few thousand silver dollars (mainly Peace dollars) today, ended up with a nice cache of VAMs. First 12A mustache I have ever located and in high grade even was among them. Still have maybe a dozen that I picked yet to attribute.

One of the wide reeds is a D2 and apparently not a VAM-44 and has yet another highly interesting feature. I am just waiting to pull the trigger on Leroy. The other I determined to be VAM-29, one I didn't have before.
The 21-D features massive breaks that could not possibly have been overlooked by anyone. It's not a VAM-1X bt I cannot imagine it being less than an R-7. That will be Leroy's determination though.
And the 12A looks a lot better than the scanner represents it as. Luster is pretty decent. I am not hip on die stages for that one though.
I picked up a 1878 7tf VAM-121 on Ebay the other day. If you can get past the long scuff in front of Liberty's chin, check out the buldge and die chip under her eyelid. This is the first VAM-121 I've seen. Cost me almost $40.
I just got an 1888 O vam 4 hot lips from my local B&M. Low xf pics later to night if asked for. Cost $15.00 Most of the time he will not sell me raw coins that I pickup, but with the price of silver he has way to many in the lower grades.
The 1884-O VAM-4 I listed earlier is actually a VAM-4A, or some wierd hybrid of 4 and 4A. It has the reeding of 4 but the spike above the 'I' in 'In' like 4A...

1880 PCGS MS65 VAM-34 -- upgrades my MS64 for the variety and adds nice toning too 1882-O PCGS MS64PL new find -- I think I have about 50 coins for Leroy to examine already 1886 PCGS MS66PL VAM-6 -- just a basic VAM I didn't have in my prooflike set for that date
also found a second example of this 1880-P with a die gouge in the hair. I sent my first example to Leroy a couple of years ago, but it did not receive a new VAM designation.
Not a hugely desirable VAM to many, but I got an 1882-O VAM-22 --- NGC 64PL, a very nice B&W cameo from Heritage today. Fills in another VAM I didn't have in my prooflike Morgan variety set. (BTW, it looked initially like it could have been a VAM-4 EDS in a wild fantasy online. But I figured out which one it was pretty quickly before I bid it.)

A cleaned 1895-S VAM 3. This is one of my first attempts at coin photography, so the images aren't quite as good as I'd like. I think I might send it to NCS for a net grade and then decide if I should sell or hold onto for the long-term.

Hey Earl -- how EDS is a 5C EDS? I only have one and it's what you'd expect from a 5C. Is there a noted progression? Something tells me that one roll of 5Cs had such, but I forget. Newbie here, but have been active on VamWorld for a while. My best cherrypick was a 1900-o/cc VAM7A in very fine that I picked up for $14.50. I recently picked a 21D Streamer Wing (VAM3a) in MS63+ for $30.00. Found a 21D VAM1N in MS60+ for $21.50, a 21D VAM 1Q Pompadour T in MS60+ for $16.99. I picked up a couple 21D 1B1s for under $20.00 each, both in XF...
I've spent easily a couple grand on unattributed VAMs in the past year. Its a very fun, very addicting hobby...

Most of the crack on the obv from the forehead down is but a hairline and there isn't much of a break where the intersection from the rim to the conjoining crack is through the "U".
there is some light clashing....just enough to see it's there but nowhere as bold as the previous 5C that I posted.
