My 4 lots all vote BBCE - Nothing personal but it is only going to put them in my hands quicker.

I want my box shipped directly from BBCE as well, no need for the middleman.

Gary, avoid the work, and lets take BBCE up on their offer! Win Win all around!!!

<< <i>I would feel a lot better of having BBCE break the case and ship so the cards don't have to be shipped twice esecially in light of the recent problems with cards being damaged in shipping. We would get them faster also.

Plus Gary this will save you a lot of time. Shipping all these will be a bit@h. I would be happy to get adresses to Steve for you if you like. >>

Bunker, this sounds like the way to do it. Let's get the direct ship!

I'm confused. When Steve made his post last week about direct ship, there were guys that immediately spoke up for direct ship (including me) yet you never even considered it. Steve's post made it sound easy, so I'm curious about the difficulties this time.

    << <i>Hello!

If everyone out there wants to save some time, we can ship out all the 78 Topps baseball wax packs/boxes directly from here. We have all the shipping supplies and it would save a step in the time process. Just let me know what everyone wants to have done.

    Thanks!! Steve >>

Steve's exact post - doesn't sound like he is being hassled here. In fact, it was a nice gesture by him, and the perfect way to handle such a large shipping project, especially when Steve does this sort of thing all the time.

    Hello!
OK, the offer still stands. I still have the case here as it didn't go out Friday. We drove across the state and bought a set run of Topps sets 1953-1975. Therefore, we didn't get to ship it out on Friday. I was planning on second day shipping it today anyway. Therefore, if you guys come up with the exact plan, I can still hold off on shipping out the whole case until the plans are final.

    Keep me informed!

    Thanks! Steve

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Thanks Steve I'll leave it up to the guys here. So heres what we got steve can still ship to everyone. I porbably wont have time to filter through and get all the addresses ,lots ,figure shipping $ to send to steve, and ect ready for steve till wednesday. Im out of town till wednesday and it will take a few ours to get all that info together or he can 2 day the case out today and I can split it video it whatever. . I dont really care anymore Im a little tired from all the rips this month you guys decide and i'll do the work either way.image

if we are doing a poll, i'll chalk one up for mailing from BBCE to have one less set of shipping hands to go thru. is there anything i can do to help (ie. generate mailing lists, etc...)? looks like roughly 23 separate mailing addresses from the list of bidders?

    Thanks,

    David (LD_Ferg)

    Steve,
I'm on record that I would like a direct ship. Sounds like we have some guys in your area that can participate in the case breaking.

    Gary,
Seems like this would work the best for all.

A direct ship from Steve just makes logical sense. A video of the break would be nice but I just want my box to travel less then it has to image

Seems like a direct ship from Steve seems best for reasons others here have mentioned.

I also vote for direct ship from Steve as well!

I just think that is the best, quickest, and most efficient way of doing it, and it'll eliminate the possibility of any damaged boxes through the mail that extra trip.

    someone should go.

this 9k case rip along with the past rips (ie. 25k 75t mini) coupled with the $2M+ wagner card just selling...could make some headlines...especially if someone videos it and puts it on youtube.

    Thanks,

    Steve,

This may be a dumb question, but I thought I would ask for clarification.

Since the case break was sold in 9-pack lots, for those that purchased 4,8, or 12 lots, should we expect to get an undisturbed case fresh box or boxes, or will 9-pack lots be broken out of each box from the entire case, and then re-assembled into 4-lot boxes (36 packs) for those who purchased multiple 9-pack lots?

    Thanks,

mrg You should be getting 2 undisturbed boxes. When I sent steve the adresses if you bought 4 lots I just marked you down as a full box.
and since 12 peeople bought full boxes thats what you should recieve.image

Still be able to rip at low prices.

To give you an idea of what you may have in store, I just ripped a '78 box that I just got today (THIS one was actually unsearched!! **whew**) and I got TWO Mickey Klutts (lol) rookies (both off center top/bottom though), TWO Ryans (one #400 off center left/right, one #206 perfect), TWO Roses (one #20 CENTERED, one #5 CENTERED), TWO Dawsons (one CENTERED, one a little off), one Bench (CENTERED), and one Reggie #200 (off center left/right).

The best part was ALL, and I mean ALL cards have very sharp corners!! I can't wait to submit these!! I'll have scans tomorrow if you want to see them (it's bed time right now). I didn't want to hijack this thread, I just wanted to share this one and help pass the time until you guys get yours. I can't wait to see your rips!!!!

from my end, if the 78s go well, i would be willing to put together the 80s bust. looks like we have a slight interest that could yield 20 boxes. i'll talk to steve and see if we could ship direct from him like the 78s.

    Thanks,
