    Hello!

If everyone out there wants to save some time, we can ship out all the 78 Topps baseball wax packs/boxes directly from here. We have all the shipping supplies and it would save a step in the time process. Just let me know what everyone wants to have done.

    Thanks!! Steve

What would be cool is if we could have access to a video of the actual case being broken and the individual boxes and lots being separated into groups to be shipped to each of us. Seems feasable with today's technology, but maybe not practical.image

I wouldn't mind the direct ship from the BBCE. Whatever works!

I had a few questions for steve waiting to hear back.

Mrg I had already planned to set up a video camera and tape the enitre thing and post it up on you tube or something like that for everyone to view. But we will see trying to figure out if it will be more work for me if steve ships them or not. If he ships them for a decent price it saves me that work but then I have to go through and creat a list will all the addresses and lots for steve. Plus we probably wouldnt pictures of the break or video. I think one of us busting the case and getting pictures to go with it is part of the fun

    Gary & Rick,

Thanks for all of the hard work you gents are doing on this, and all of the other breaks/rips you (Gary) have done in the past. I am new at participating in these events, but I feel much more comfortable putting my hard-earned money into packs/boxes purchased in this fashion than via ebay or others. I have been burned so many times by searched material and box deals gone bad that I had just about given up. I know Steve at BBCE has good product, and if he ever has availability of product I am collecting, I would buy from him, but this really makes collecting for me enjoyable! This is a really cool way to get items I would most likely never buy otherwise!

    Cheers,
    Michael

    Hey guys,
Good luck with this rip. About a year ago, softparade and I ripped several boxes of case-fresh 78 wax from BBCE and had some unbelievable success. In fact, I actually showed a profit after grading and selling, and was left with mint copies of all the RCs (except Murray) for my own collection. I hope you all do just as well or better. Wish I could join but I have everything I need out of this set.

Also, I think it's ridiculous that someone accused Gary of profitting of the rips he's been putting together. The math is pretty easy to do and anybody with a brain can see he's not making a dime. As a side note, I'm going to do a 1990 Donruss case rip- the price will be $35 for a lot of 10 wax packs. Please paypal me the funds right away as these lots are going fast.

And to make Lee's rip even more exciting, I will offer the same $35 deal on a 2 Case 1990 Pro-Set Football rip! image

Everything Lee states above is true. EXCEPT that was a 3 box rack case and nnot wax image Man were those crisp cards. I still have a ton of super quality raw that I never submitted because they are cards that I have a really nice example of graded already!

Sorry soft, for some reason I thought you were busting wax boxes when I was, which was a few months before the rack case. I gotta quit drinking.

I would be more than happy to go to Steve's warehouse and video the case break and rip my 9 packs while there and video those as well.

I loved going there for the 75 Mini break. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Will Steve be shipping these lots direct from his store? I think that would be the most efficient way of doing it and make it easier for Gary so he won't have to ship out all those packages.

Man, the anticipation is killing me and I'm not even part of the rip. I can't wait to see the video on youtube.

I agree that this will be fun even though I never quite warmed up to the 78's. Although I do need to find a nice, centered Ron Cey to complete my all stars from 78. I am laying back licking my chops for someone to do a break of 77's.

Did we ever decide on if these are being shipped direct or from BCCE to Gary and then out to all of us. Either way lets get this ordered. I might even do another lot if it will help the cause, but only if needed.

    Gary,

Why wouldn't we utilize this if Steve is offering? This is the safest and most secure for the case/boxes/packs and we all would get it much sooner. Plus, it would save you a lot of time.

I am very curious as to why we would not have Steve do this if he offered. I know that you are helping Bunker here, but this is his baby. How about we let Bunker decide?

Let us all know why you would want the card to travel an extra step and cause yourself hours of work that you don't need to do.

I would feel a lot better of having BBCE break the case and ship so the cards don't have to be shipped twice esecially in light of the recent problems with cards being damaged in shipping. We would get them faster also.

Plus Gary this will save you a lot of time. Shipping all these will be a bit@h. I would be happy to get adresses to Steve for you if you like.
