The eagle has landed. Jordan and Gary have all the pictures of the fun and will post them later tonight. Everyones packs/boxes will go out UPS tomorrow insured and well packed. The display boxes and packs had more gloss on them than 2007 Chrome products!
Hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did hosting it!

Thanks Steve for hosting this. It will be fun to tear into those packs. I bet they still retain a strong smell of gum. Hopefully we can do something like this again in the future.
I was unavoidably detained at work, forcing me to miss this momentous occasion (I had a couple hundred card savers and my digital camera in the car - ready to rip!) - but although it has been said many times - thanks to Jordan for organizing this bust. 10's for everyone! Cheers to Steve too, and to all of us who bought in.
Thank you Steve and zef for putting this together.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
Thanks again, Steve & Zef for all your efforts. I'm looking forward to receiving the packs!

One day if it ever becomes feasible for me, I would like for everyone who could on the CU message boards to have a "get together". I have always wanted for everyone to meet at BBC Exchange, Meet Steve, and possibly tour his warehouse and buy loads of unopened product; Go back to the Hotel have a few beers and have a wax bust extravaganza ! Maybe even go to a card show that could be in town for the weekend. What a blast !
Hey Tennessee......I'm in for a get together in the "warehouse".....my suggestion would be sometime in spring or summer so the drive wouldn't be too bad....I'm in the Cleveland area...six hours away if I have it figured right..... would think it would be fantastic to meet some fellow forum members....I haven't been on long but have really enjoyed my short stay so far.....and can't forget that the cards I've been able to pick up have been great.....can't wait to get my mini's!!!!
I agree alnavman, Steve is prett centrally located just outside Chicago. I first got the idea when the National was in Chicago, And thought it would be nice to meet some fellow board members and go to national and BBC Exchange. I will have to give it some serious thought with two young children at home.
I can't wait for the pic's, I have been anticipating and watching this thread for weeks and I am kicking myself for not getting in on this wax rip. Oh well best of luck to everyone that did and I hope everyone pulls some 9's and 10's! Steve is a class act all the way and in the short time I have been on here the other CU members have been great. Good luck guys and Like everyone else I will be eagerly awaiting the scans and pics

<< <i>All 9 of my packs were diamond cut. I maybe submitting 3 or 4 cards total. >>
Sorry to hear that. Looks like someone in Topps QA wasn't doing their job when they loaded in the sheets. For the rest of our sake, let's hope it was limited to one or two sheets of cards only.

True that. The GAI pack I bought from Steve a few months ago yielded 4 or 5 gradables itself. Luck of the draw!

The one 78 rack I picked up today has about 10 or 11 gradables and a Winfield I think that has a 10 chance!
