Thanks Bri. This was probably my best buy ever off of eBay. I paid $250 for the flyer, which looked like this:

    image

Unfortunately, this, the rack pack and a good portion of my collection will be hitting eBay shortly as the wife and I are splitting up and I'll be needing a house more than anything else. Any thoughts on what the Munson auto will bring?

    Mike,

Really sorry to hear about your situation. Hope everything works out for the best.

Regarding the autos, i think you made a god choice cutting it up and sending the Thurman in by itself. I think you could pull in close to $1000 just for the Munson since its slabbed. Jeez, I see it came from a place in Hicksville..not even sure if that plaze still exists...its only 15 minutes from me and I dont recall seeing it recently. I could be wrong, but where it once was is the Ikea I just spent some $$ on for stuff for the home.

Anyhow, good luck with the auction, let me know when you put it up, and again, good luck and best of wishes to everything on the home front.

    MD-
Nice HOF'ers. They look great for their grade.

    Matt-
Maybe you can have a Cowboys only registry set for Emmitt. That should knock off about 5% of your needs. Nice additions! Maybe you can start a T.O. collection image

Mike, There are 943 cards listed. But there will be more added as I have about 4 or five not listed on the registry that I had to fill out "card addition forms"

    Matt,

I've got boat loads of odd Emmitt cards. I'm seriously considering getting them graded and retiring early with the rate you're buying them.

When did you start the registry?

And my Mosi Tatupu Master Set will shred your Emmitt image

I'll scan more of my Perez Steeles later tonight. All are recent wins. My scanner went down and had to buy a new one...I dont like the scanner much either. Im thinking I'll bring it back and try another.

You're right, Jeter autos are pricey. Im trying to find one for a friend's son for around 65...forget it!

Kind of in an "unseen" way. I now have at least 6 or 7 cards that I am waiting for the player addition forms to go through. From what I hear I am going to be old and gray before that gets done.

    No offense Mike! image

I found this gift signing card kind of interesting - this is not a sportscard - but rather the insert for a Hallmark sports Christmas tree ornament where someone can write to: so and so on the back.

The cool thing is that the front appears to be authorized by MLB. The pic is of the actual ornament.

    image

Also, of note - the card has great corners!

    It's not a card NJ - I don't get much graded anyways.
