nice postcard. that issue can get some serious interest. i didn't realize that SGC grades these issues.

i have a postally used example coming my way. it has some interesting baseball content in the message.

Just got this from UPS today. This is the best piece I have ever owned. These are game used from April, 2006. That was the month that he broke the record for homeruns in April. Both gloves are autographed as well as the COA.

    You're welcome Mike.

    Also....

I've decided to save people some money with shipping.

The first level of shipping is:

Economy - we ship direct to u - this way we
eliminate all that cost of a holder, bubble envelope
and wrapping - your clients will really like this!

Yes, that is his original signature on the COA. That's three autos right there.

Mike, sure I'll send you one. I would like to get some use out of them first while playing softball at church. Once I wear a hole in one, I'll send it to you!!!! image

You don't see them too often because they are tough to find.

Here is a couple pics of my Washington Senators hat:

The Erskine card will eventually find its way to SGC/JSA. I think it will look great with the yellow background
    and the black border slab.

    Tony,
nice to see you post again. That Erskine looks great, as does the hat. Someday I'll find my way to one. Thanks for sharing.

    Tom,

Thanks! I don't post as often in the summertime. I do read still from time to time and I will admit I've only
read a couple pages of this thread and just happened to see the red man comment. Most times I would
    of missed that post.

We need to get Griffens or Novecent to find more spots for you to post....image

Your red man set looks good. Still upgrading?

Superb looking Erskine auto card! I agree the black border will make the card pop.

BTW, thanx for taking the time to post the Red Man Cap - I have seen one in an auction but the pic you provided is way more detailed.

It's great to have in this archive of stuff!

    thanx again

I like it! Are you gonna get it graded - I have to say - those cards look great in a holder.

I had considered getting a few cases of arrowhead holders years ago - but I would wind up with way too much plastic in the closet.

It's got the Cobb name on the card - super!

    Hi Tony,
Thanks for the compliment. I haven't been upgrading lately. I have all the '55 Red Man Yankees in PSA 8 now. I will upgrade if I see a good deal.
I'm looking for a new set to start working on. Too many choices!!

    Wow.
    That Cobb is awesome.
Here's a new addition; it probably won't get holdered because it doesn't quite look right, but it's my first Old Judge and I've wanted to hold one and call it my own for a long time.

    Nice Reese and Aaron.

The more I see those '55 Bowmans, the more I like them. Between football and baseball, Bowman went out with a bang in '55.

I got this on Ebay for $3.76! The seller didnt have a pic posted for some reason. Usually I would stay away from auctions like this but I bought from him before and he's a good seller. Needless to say I am happy image

    Tremendous card!

Blanda is my hero! On many occasions, Lamonica would be taken out and Blanda would come in - pass a TD and then kick the PAT - and on one occasion, I remember him subsequently kicking an FG to win the game!!!

thanx for sharing - he looks great in that pic!
