Patrick Mahomes while being a braggart at times, still is a classy guy in my opinion.

Travis Kelce wouldn't know class if it smacked him in the face.

Oh Travis, you poor baby, you've become filthy rich, the NFL players are of course well protected in various ways, etc. There's little to no safety risk at all for these players while traveling to a foreign country.

Not a Travis fan, but I think these international games are stupid.

I don't know what his argument is because I don't care, but traveling from US to Europe to play a game within a day or two does really suck. North-South... Doesn't matter a bit. East-West more than 6 hours... Nope.

One hundred percent agree with ya!

However he's making a million dollars a game or whatever it is per game. Plus countless millions from endorsements, movie roles, commercials, etc. Including celebrity benefits such as dating untalented, overrated singers. All because of the game. Then schedule the game on Mars for crying out loud, he should be much more thankful, and not beach about it.

Stevek just isnt worth responding to anymore. The Chiefs win every game so he has to resort to stuff like this. I wonder how many players actually want to go to a foreign country to play an nfl game.

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

Darin knows his team will soon begin going down the drain.

The end of this season for the Chiefs will be when they lose their first playoff game. It's already etched in stone. The etch-masters just left enough room for the final score.

After Detroit Lions linebacker James Houston went viral for a suspicious brown stain on his uniform during a game on Sunday, retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce told fans it’s happened to him and “many” other football players.

Ahh don't worry about it Chiefs fans. With the Chiefs totally bizarre good luck this season, they could play an NFL team consisting of the top Hall of Fame players of all time, and the Chiefs would still win the game.

The Chiefs can take solace in the fact that they're not the only team using a scrub kicker this week.

    That Taylor Swift dances good.

Guess you haven’t seen it either. I’ve never seen a comedian spend 20 minutes just bashing a city and its people so thoroughly.

Thanks regarding my loss but I really don’t know what it’s related to.

NFL News: Travis Kelce Considers Retirement Amid NFL's Global Expansion

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently announced a major expansion initiative for the 2025 season, aiming to host eight international games in cities including Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, Dublin, and Munich. While this vision promises to spread American football to new global audiences, it has raised concerns among players, including Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who expressed frustration with the strain these plans put on athletes. Kelce’s comments suggest he may even consider early retirement if the league continues to prioritize international growth over players’ well-being.

    <
    <

It's hilarious this guy travels all over the world to watch a silly concert by his diva girlfriend. Yet he gets angry over the possibility of maybe once a year having to travel and play football for a league that has made him rich and famous. Absolutely pathetic beyond belief.

His retirement after this season is something I fully expect.

He signed a 100 million dollar podcast thing with his brother all the commercials and a billion dollar girlfriend.

I'd say he is smart to retire after this season, not to mention he is what 34 going to be 35?

  • PaulMaulPaulMaul Posts: 4,877 ✭✭✭✭✭

I’m still not convinced these forays into London or Munich are doing anything to “grow the game” internationally. Every time I look in the crowds I see Americans who traveled and locals who are there to see a novelty but ultimately don’t care much about the NFL.

"Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) ruled out Sunday vs. the Chiefs"

So the Chiefs aren't lucky huh? They have been ridiculously lucky all season, and it never seems to stop.

It may be time to admit that the lame singer who is now basically their team mascot, who is a superstar in the music industry despite the fact that she has very little actual singing or song writing ability, may have something to so with it.

But I'm not going to admit that quite yet. 😉

To say she has very little songwriting ability is a pretty weak take. Why not just say her stuff isn’t your cup of tea?

I'm not saying her music doesn't have value. Whenever I have an insect or rodent infestation in my house. I loudly turn on her so-called music, go outside so I can't hear it, wait around ten minutes, come back inside and the infestation is completely gone. The insects or rodents have run for their lives. No exterminator needed.

Almost hard to believe, and yes once again, amazing good luck falls right into the Chiefs lap. But of course some will still say the Chiefs undefeated record has nothing to do with luck.

There's scientific evidence of a pending volcano underneath Yellowstone Park. Could happen in the next hundred years, or it could happen millions of years from now. Thankfully, more likely millions of years from now. However if it did happen right now, every bit of America would be covered under yards of volcanic ash, with the lone exception of Arrowhead Stadium.

I’d advise Chiefs fans not to get too depressed over the Chiefs first loss of the season tomorrow on Sunday. It‘s not the end of the world, the Chiefs finally losing a game. Their record is still 9-1 which is very impressive.

We all knew the Chiefs weren’t going undefeated, and that they wouldn’t three-peat. So it makes no sense getting too upset over the inevitable, right?

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,159 ✭✭✭✭✭

I think this is considered Taylor's rookie card? Maybe posting this here can help being out a Chief's loss tomorrow. 😉

One thing is for certain on these boards……. just when I start thinking basebal21 is the most pompous know it all here stevek seems to sense he’s running in second place and steps up to take the lead again.

Fueling the need to bring me into something that I havent posted in in weeks, bless your heart

Like it or not the Chiefs will lose to someone and it wont matter with Denver and the Raiders being so bad. Theyll finish with 2 or 3 losses and be firmly in the playoffs.

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007

Darin, I've got a very important jinx try on for tomorrow against the Chiefs. I thought I'd at least get a compliment for the effort.

I realize that I may have guaranteed the Chiefs a win, but I was forced to try something as nothing else was working.

Sometimes it gets a little personal. Nobody is on here trying to constantly trash talk the Eagles even though it seems the irony is lost on you because they were the team that completely collapsed last year. Most fans concentrate on their favorite team instead of being obsessed with some other team they don’t even like.

"Sometimes it gets a little personal."

That means you're a good sports fan.

Look, when your team wins two straight Super Bowls, and then brags over and over again about a 3-peat, they're going to get some smack hurled back at them. That's the way the world of sports works. Always has been, always will be. Get used to it.

Frankly, you should be enjoying it. I know I would if the Eagles were in the same position as the Chiefs are now. I'd receive the smack and say, "Thank you Sir, may i have another." 😉
