The committees arent perfect, you can look at whose on it and half of them probably dont even watch football. We do need to get rid of the Marist professors and directors of community relations on the committee and get actual football people on there with more balance instead of overloading it for one conference like it is now.
That said the 12 teams is a big improvement over the 4 and especially over when it was 2. We got robbed of seeing LSU and Southern Cal having to play to see who the real champion was in 2003 from the dumb system back then. The biggest change that needs to happen is getting rid of the automatic byes for 5 conference champs. At most it should be 4, G5 teams dont deserve a bye. It would be nice to get rid of the bye all together which might happen with the expansion to 16 that is expected. Im fine with the Power 4 champ getting an automatic bid into the playoffs.
The other big thing though is week 0 probably needs to be a real week. January 20th is just to late for the CFP final. The spring semester has already started and you still have teams playing from the year before that their players now have 30 days in the transfer portal. They need to try and align it better with the semester schedule which wont be an easy task

I’ll wait to see for myself. Your crystal ball appears broken dude. You haven’t got a prediction right for months.
They need OL's and DB's so it's a good bet they are evaluating both players. IF the Cleveland Browns decide they need to draft a QB they would be wise to do it in a later round, say 3-4. At the same time, there will be plenty of serviceable QB's available to sign. Stefanski or whoever makes the decisions seems to be in love with Dorian Thompson-Robinson but he has proven incapable of doing the job. Cleveland's "achilles heel" in QB assessment tends to be that they favor a smaller player at around 6'-6'2" and 215. That's just too small and the extra 2" and 10-12 lbs. is important.

Yeah, Alabama is a real hotbed of QB prospects but they just don't seem to pan out in the NFL.
I saw a couple with the Browns taking Cam Ward if Vegas trades for #1 and takes Sanders
Is that LT Campbell or CB Johnson worthy of going 1 or 2?
Or even Hunter?
Hunter is. Cambell or Banks Jr could go there but if a QB isnt being taken at 2 and they arent trading down its more likely Hunter would be the pick. The Browns are probably ready to move on from Watson at this point. Cambell is everything youd want in a OT though, 6'6 monster and aggressive that can put people in the ground

Hurts is one of the best QBs, Tua would be if he wasnt so fragile/ Jones was over drafted into a bad situation, that Bama offense he had was one of the most loaded in the history of football. Despite having absolutely nothing around him Young was still just as good if not better than Caleb who actually had a lot of top tier weapons.
Milroe just sucks. He could be an elite TE or maybe RB as he is a physical specimen but as a QB hes just a bunch of psychical ability that looks good in combines and terrible in games
whoever drafts Jalen Milroe will set the team back at least 5 years. i just can't believe his name is tied to the top half/middle of 1st round mocks. every time i watched him play the prevailing thought i had was, how in the world did this kid ever become the starting QB for Alabama
just goes to show how weak this QB crop is. draft one of these guys and you best be on high bust alert

The craziest part is that they saw him play last year and then the new coach was like yep this is my guy lets go ahead and start the RB pretending to be a QB for a second year.
> The Browns are probably ready to move on from Watson at this point.
The Browns have deployed the lawyers and they are working to get out of that contract. I don't see that relationship mending. If he hasn't played his last game as a Brown I'll be very shocked.
But, I don't think the Browns want to be drafting a QB at #2 either, and I don't think Hunter is the right pick for them. OT and a NT/DT. And a WR, and a QB, and all the stuff. Maybe it doesn't matter. Draft Milroe.

He could have given the Browns an out
The NFLPA isnt the best about defending players, but I would imagine trying to void Watsons guaranteed money would be something they would go to war for and the players across the league would be pushing for them to do so. Being able to do that would have ramifications on every player
The Browns definitely regret the move, but they havent gotten a QB right in like 30 years. Its easy enough to find a bunch of drs that would say he didnt nothing wrong and it just happens some times

Agreed but if there is a clause in his contract to follow rehab rules and a walking boot was part of it?
There is a video of him right after surgery without it, if they find he did anything out of the ordinary they will go after that clause with everything they got
If it's in black n white in the contract then the NFLPA won't be able to save him

Thats just simply not true. Finebaum is just a click bait dude., The B!G had 3 good teams. OSU is a team that should be fighting for Nattys every year and finally got one under day, PSU is solid but never wins anything under Franklin, Oregon is soft and will beat everyone but gets punched in the mouth by the big boys. The rest of the B!G was pretty trash. Its a very top heavy conference that has been carried by 2 to 3 teams for the last 30 years
Here, let me fix that:
--- Thats just simply not true. Finebaum is just a click bait dude., The SEC had 3 good teams. I could do something similar for probably every conference in the NCAA, that's just how it works. Each conference is dominated by 2-3 teams but we are on the cusp of change with the advent of the Transfer Portal and NIL. It's already evident and will become clearer in the next several years.

Cleveland's "achilles heel" in QB assessment tends to be that they favor a smaller player at around 6'-6'2" and 215. That's just too small and the extra 2" and 10-12 lbs. is important.
DTR might be the worst QB in the league, it would be a photo finish between him and Levis

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
whoever drafts Jalen Milroe will set the team back at least 5 years. i just can't believe his name is tied to the top half/middle of 1st round mocks. every time i watched him play the prevailing thought i had was, how in the world did this kid ever become the starting QB for Alabama
just goes to show how weak this QB crop is. draft one of these guys and you best be on high bust alert
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

I read that the lawyers are looking into seeing if Watson broke the rehab rules by not wearing a walking boot,
He could have given the Browns an out
If he did that it's like close a $100 million SNAFU.
Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
Agreed but if there is a clause in his contract to follow rehab rules and a walking boot was part of it?
There is a video of him right after surgery without it, if they find he did anything out of the ordinary they will go after that clause with everything they got
If it's in black n white in the contract then the NFLPA won't be able to save him
I think it’s going to be tough. But that doesn’t change what it signals.
Oh the Cleveland/ Watson marriage is in shambles, nothing will fix it at this point
If that's what your implying
If Tennessee, Texas, or Georgia played a BIG TEN schedule, none would have made the playoffs. Even Finebaum admitted BIG TEN is now the best conference.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!
Ignore list -Basebal21

Bama was solid until Milroe became the QB and Debour wouldnt bench him
Tennessee had three significant injure right away. Georgie had significant injuries in the SEC championship game.
