I sent a venezuelan Clemente recently to get graded, only thing I could find wrong was a few spots of glue on back, no paper or paper loss. It came back in a cardsaver marked "miscut". It lined up with other cards, and it did grade numerically at SGC. I just think PSA might be a little cautious on slabbing them if they're not perfectly square. Might not hurt to ask before you spend the $ on signing.
As a Pirate fan in the early 70s I used to hate Johnny Bench. That's a nice card, I hope they can slab it!

Couple pickups from my local LCS run yesterday. Nothing special but couldn't pass them up. The tilt on the Bench bothers me....a lot but I just picked it up to have autographed. Might try to get another before the National.
It might be my eyes or the photo. but is the Bench miscut? Before you spend the time getting it signed make sure PSA will slab it.
Yes, you are correct. It is a miscut. I'm not looking for a grade on the card itself, just looking to have the auto auth and maybe auto grade. I assumed they would still slab it. Can't remember if that is the blue label or which one. Even if not, it's just for my PC and it was priced right, lol.
With it being “diamond cut” it wouldn’t fit in a slab. As far as I can tell, PSA wouldn’t be able to slab that.
I picked these up from a poster on this board and the Net54Basbeball board @tram4hof
Beautifully packaged when delivered and a perfect price to rip. I would like to say I took my time but alas, the 12 year old in my had too much fun. The 82 was loaded! 2 Ripken's and they were both right next to Mr. Lee Smith. Ryan, Henderson, and virtually every HOF in the set and they are well well centered. I will post pictures later in the week of the Ripken's and Smith's.
The 81 box was nice but a lot of off-centered cards. A nice Henderson and Ryan, plenty of other nice cards but the centering is hit/miss.
Got my Degrom’s back from PSA today. Probably only keep the 2014 Topps but wanted to share. Really love all 3 although maybe not the grades.
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. Collecting: post world war II HOF rookie 76 topps gem mint 10 commons 9 stars Arenado purple refractors(Rockies) Red (Cardinals) successful deals with Keevan, Grote15, 1954, mbogoman
I picked up some unopened 1981 and 1982 wax in late June. So that does not count, but after scoring the 79 rack pack box in early July, I scored this beauty. Time to find a 1978 and I will have a box from all of the formative years of my childhood!
9x All-Star, WS Champ, AL ROY, 3x Gold Glove, 2x Silver Slugger, Alleged leader in the illegal sign stealing scheme... 435 Career HR, .279 Lifetime Average... Didn't even get his own picture on on his only RC...
Beltran is actually pictured on this card.. Juan himself racked up 65 HR in the majors, 547 hits...
This is a special card for me. It’s got warts but it hits all the right notes; for my collection, anyway.
And I wanted to take the time to thank @blurryface and @DM23HOF for sharing their hobby insight over the years. As a collector of vintage, I also learned the old rules about cards and collecting but I believe the ability to change your point of view in light of solid information is actually a sign of intelligence.
You can always learn at any age.
So, I really have them to thank for sharing what they love because hearing their passion caused me to rethink things I thought I knew. Frankly, I don’t think this card would make the cut for either of them, mind you, but just know that you inspired this mid to low grade collector to ‘break my own rules’ and significantly improve my collection, as a result.
And I thank you both for it.

Awesome pickup Monte. I was following that card. Glad to see it landed in your collection. Conrats.
Thanks for the comments!
I wanted to replace the 1956 Mays I sold to Gemint. The main image is identical on the 55 and 56 Mays...so I did not like that. I kept the 55 over the 56 for a few reasons: 8.5 vs 8, lower Pop on the 55, and I like 55 design better than the 56. Though, the 56 is nice, too.
I really like 8.5s also and this card has good eye appeal even though it did not earn a PWCC sticker for eye appeal relative to the assigned grade.

I assumed they would still slab it.
It's a heck of a lot nicer than mine!

I am down to 4 left - Schmidt, Brett, Winfield and Mollie.
I’m disappointed in the auto on this card; a reminder to never eBay after multiple Bourbon’s. But, not gonna fret.
Another 61 for the registry
I figured if they slab index cards, napkins, etc, lol.... they could probably put it in a bigger holder... like for post cards or something.
A Rookie year auto for my Nomar Collection. Not a super valuable card, but I like the serial # 0550 (Nomar's uniform number was 5
Picked this up on the Bay. I've always liked this card and it fits in my HOF catcher's collection. My first Old Judge I've ever owned.

Great cards. Congrats
Didn't Reggie have some of the nicest looking photos? Just really cool and my favorite player growing up. 1971, 1978 and 1980 might be my favorites.
One of my favorite cards. Classic Reggie swing. Nice pickup!
Thanks!

I had been looking for a Mathewson to add to my hall of fame collection. I thought this one was extremely nice for the grade.
