I few other pickups this month. I always try to obtain PSA 7 or higher (card grade) of autographed vintage HOFers. I was glad to pick up this Stargell.
Like all the prior posts- and @UFFDAH don't think that card wasn't noticed- as usual drool worthy pickup !!
A bunch from a prior sub that the set registry folks got added for me- can post them now that I've added to my Nomar set
Was incredibly lucky on the Timber, and the Gold Bats it's not like there's more to choose from lately- plus doubt they could buy as cheap as I got that one. There was a ton of Jeter goodies up at the time I plucked this one most Jeter guys had to choose.
Also three more slabs from a newer order two football and a Kershaw Orange Refractor Pop 3. I always expect late July/early August Kershaw "rest" to happen- every year the Dodgers do it so he's strong for Sept/Oct stretch runs.
The football not sure why no one subbed much 03 Leaf Bronze Spotlights prior . Lot of Cowboys subbed ( think the why is just where I plucked from a pile - it's not like I plan on one team) The Sanders is a Pop 1 none higher the Dorsett same deal Pop 1 none higher. Now that the specs are created I'm sure more will be subbed.

A little banged up but most that surface seem to be one way or the other. Aside from a few outliers, these were part of a glove promotion in the early 1960's and so many were taped and corkboarded and discarded like crazy. So, no pinholes and no tape stains is a win even if there's obvious creases of varying visual impact...

I'll take a PSA 10 on die cut Elite stuff all day long and Mint 9 and above on jersey pieces all day long. At one point the Triple Threads with Vick was a very expensive card
I'm gonna guess southeast and the FL / Bama / MS coastal areas?? Trees are similar to my trips on the RTJ and Audobon golf trails I used to take . miss the golfing , food, and woman

no boat ownership. used to own a 27’ outage. great boat but still a boat. joined the freedom boat club a few years back. have an array of options from skiffs, bowriders, cuddys, party barges, etc. can grab a boat here or anywhere else in the world they have a franchise. best part is that when im done, i just drop the keys back off and done. debits on file to fill back up and no cleaning, no maintenance, insurance, winterizing, tags or headaches. best decision ive ever made.
Explains a lot- I did my one and only mecca of golf trip in 1997. Lots of good experiences -did 10 courses over 5 days.

thanks, cakes! just moved in over the weekend. moving sucks. im sore as sore can be, but the biggest thing bothering me is the collection being in disarray, sitting in boxes and unorganized. getting there though!

I know! I actually had one of these before, sold it in Feb, and then bought the exact same card back with another last month. Very glad to have it back.

just in case you ever get compelled. this is the list ive put together. no way i think its complete and still researching and adding almost daily. some of the newer cards have different variations. with him being card #1 of the os, it seems he and adam bomb are pretty much the faces of the franchise. anything w them tends to hold and carry value. when the covid pricing started to set in on my regular items, i switched gears over to this and another project. it was fairly cheap but extremely fun. i will say though, i missed out on a ton of items by mere hours that others hit the BIN almost instantly on. plus they recently released the os1 sapphire box/set, have a topps gpk collectors club that sold out and have been doing monthly on-demand sets as well. all of this seems to indicate that theres a pretty strong market out there for all things gpk.

Wife now works at the Elementary School in our area and was helping out her co-worker trying to prepare for the upcoming school year and brought home a bag o stuff that was to be thrown away.
Cases needed to be cleaned but books and tapes look like they've never been played/handled.

Box was damaged in shipping resulting in corners of the covers taking hits enough to ding them but again mostly generic covers so not upset. Grading was pretty much spot on with sellers grade of EX except for 2 being way worse than expected but buying in bulk I lean towards the thinking that there will be ones not to my standards and I try/tend to undergrade with vinyl so most of these were VG+ (which is EX if you go by Goldmine grading standards), a bunch at VG, a couple easily NM and a couple in the G+ range.
