Couple more 1998 Black Diamond Premium Die Cuts- all HOF running backs
The Davis has an OPC type left edge = that may have been a gratuitous 9.
Being honest with myself- I had it pegged as an 8. Scanning 3 more right now slow going

Davis Double is now a Pop 2 none higher
Sanders is a Pop 3 just 2 Gems out there
Emmitt is now a Pop 2 none higher

Yeah I love Leaf Limited any year. I have his silver and Gold somewhere also set to slab wish I'd have found them in time last year.

More freshly back from the last few months. Mostly football current and future HOF
Probably the best "short" QB in history is below. Before Russell Wilson this guy was considered "short"
Think his career numbers speak for themselves

My friend Greg collects him- sadly I have both BGS and PSA slabs of him planned these are all PSA planned
Happy about all 5. I expect 8's on Pacific they are normal. The rest were gravy and the PSA 10 jersey was unexpected
I'll take a PSA 10 on die cut Elite stuff all day long and Mint 9 and above on jersey pieces all day long. At one point the Triple Threads with Vick was a very expensive card

More to follow the scanning is slow going

Beautiful spot, what area of the country? You fish?

  • jeffv96mastersjeffv96masters Posts: 607 ✭✭✭✭

I'm gonna guess southeast and the FL / Bama / MS coastal areas?? Trees are similar to my trips on the RTJ and Audobon golf trails I used to take . miss the golfing , food, and woman :(

give that man a prize! great inshore fishing. gotta go out quite a ways for big game.

no boat ownership. used to own a 27’ outage. great boat but still a boat. joined the freedom boat club a few years back. have an array of options from skiffs, bowriders, cuddys, party barges, etc. can grab a boat here or anywhere else in the world they have a franchise. best part is that when im done, i just drop the keys back off and done. debits on file to fill back up and no cleaning, no maintenance, insurance, winterizing, tags or headaches. best decision ive ever made.

Explains a lot- I did my one and only mecca of golf trip in 1997. Lots of good experiences -did 10 courses over 5 days.
Moved on to other venues. Good Q and even better sides.

Not sure if I scanned/showed these yet = just picking piles of slabs I need to scan or send to the storage
A few Brady from the 2007 NFL Playoffs series. Have more Brady to catch up on as well.
Gold is a Pop 6, Gold Metalized Pop 2, Black Metalized Pop 1

I have a bunch more from the same Black Metalized hot box I'm scanning right now that I slabbed. Long way to go on slabbing those. Think I have 10 of the 180 slabbed now of that box.

The Gold base- see scan 1- had to fix that bad boy first. Got it back less than 2 weeks total turnaround- good CRC work :D

May not be my typical purchases but was happy to pick these up in July. Brought back good memories of some of my first experiences collecting as a kid.

I know! I actually had one of these before, sold it in Feb, and then bought the exact same card back with another last month. Very glad to have it back.

Congratulations on your pickup! It looks awesome!!!

just in case you ever get compelled. this is the list ive put together. no way i think its complete and still researching and adding almost daily. some of the newer cards have different variations. with him being card #1 of the os, it seems he and adam bomb are pretty much the faces of the franchise. anything w them tends to hold and carry value. when the covid pricing started to set in on my regular items, i switched gears over to this and another project. it was fairly cheap but extremely fun. i will say though, i missed out on a ton of items by mere hours that others hit the BIN almost instantly on. plus they recently released the os1 sapphire box/set, have a topps gpk collectors club that sold out and have been doing monthly on-demand sets as well. all of this seems to indicate that theres a pretty strong market out there for all things gpk.

Wow, nice list! Thanks for sharing. I had no idea there were this many variations. I've tried to pick up a couple of these over the last year but haven't had much luck. Demand has been wild. Wish I would have started on these before the covid boom. Your list is very helpful and gives me a much better idea of what's out there. Thanks!

Wife now works at the Elementary School in our area and was helping out her co-worker trying to prepare for the upcoming school year and brought home a bag o stuff that was to be thrown away.

Cases needed to be cleaned but books and tapes look like they've never been played/handled.

These were the rest in the bag.

Also picked up a bunch of 12" singles. As they are mostly in generic or company covers no real need for pictures on this batch.

Cher ‎– When The Money's Gone PROMO.
KC & The Sunshine Band ‎– Game Of Love PROMO.
Firefly – Love (Is Gonna Be On Your Side)/Forget It.
    Chumbawamba ‎– Amnesia.
    Staxx Of Joy ‎– Joy.
Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam ‎– Let The Beat Hit 'Em.
The Midnight Shift ‎– California Dreaming.
    Klymaxx ‎– Sexy.
Hannah Jones ‎– What The Child Needs (The Jonothan Peters Mixes).
Bad Yard Club ‎– In De Ghetto PROMO.
Traxx Sounds Int'l ‎– Movie On House.
Blue Train – All I Need Is You.
    Suzy Q ‎– Harmony.
Magda Layna ‎– When Will I See You Again.
    Jebadiah ‎– All Together.
Voggue ‎– Dancin' The Night Away.
Thelma Houston ‎– Throw You Down.
    Debbie Jacobs-Rock ‎– Forever.
Mocca Soul – Mass Of Emotion.
Mad Doll ‎– Walk On By.
DJ Dado & Simone Jay ‎– Ready Or Not.
    Rising Star ‎– Touch Me.
Eria Fachin ‎– Your Love Just Came Too Late (SRC Pressing/Not Listed On Discogs) PROMO.
Bette Midler ‎– Moonlight Dancing PROMO.
Paul Lekakis ‎– Tattoo It On Me.
Various ‎– Salsoul's Greatest 12" Hits Vol. II.

Box was damaged in shipping resulting in corners of the covers taking hits enough to ding them but again mostly generic covers so not upset. Grading was pretty much spot on with sellers grade of EX except for 2 being way worse than expected but buying in bulk I lean towards the thinking that there will be ones not to my standards and I try/tend to undergrade with vinyl so most of these were VG+ (which is EX if you go by Goldmine grading standards), a bunch at VG, a couple easily NM and a couple in the G+ range.
