July - show us your Star Spangled Pickups!!

This rare opened case came from an original owner who's friend of the family was a sales rep for Topps.

After buying, it was shipped immediately to BBCE for inspection.

Steve Hart then came back with the following....."I looked over the 2 1978 Topps baseball wax trays today and they are awesome! Condition is basically un-improvable"

Whoa is right. I imagine UFFDAH's house to be one room after another filled with five and six figure cardboard boxes stacked everywhere.

I took a break in the mid/late 90s so missed all of these excellent looking late Mariners Griffey cards. Thx for posting.

I picked up some cheap 1976 Topps Football PSA 9's. It's cheaper to buy them than to sub them!

1995 to 1999 is my favorite stretch. Great designs during that span!

It's been awhile for any kind of purchase for me lately but at least this one was affordable:

Happy to pick up this eye popping card from fellow member, 76collector (Jeff) today. The first 1979, I have purchased...

I have always loved the 79 Ryan. Great card, congrats!

Thx Nic! It was not on my buy list actually...but I could not pass on such a beautiful card of one of my favorite players.

Just picked this one up while looking for an 8/8.5 centered. Looks like an 8 IMo but paid pennies for it.

Happy to add back Dr. J. to my rookie collection. The money was just too good during the run up of prices so I sold my 8.5 Dr. J. Happy to find this one to replace it. No elbow barnacle and the back is centered better than most.

    Awesome! Congrats!

No cards to contribute, working on my comic collection. Did pick up an interesting storage option. Field/ammo box. Hard plastic, made by Sheffield (USA). Waterproof, lockable in 3 points(padlock extra). Stackable. Holds 40 PSA slabs in sleeves. Available in many colors, priced $7.99 - $14.99 on Amazon.

Just purchased these today from my card shop including 2 blank backs ( Jim Kelly , John Elway ) . also got the cor. and rev neg 1990 juan gonzalez . i picked up 13 leaf steel baseball but do not know much about them other then the cards are made of metal.

There is a lot of diversity in that lot!

I've been on the hunt for one of these for 7-8 years now and blessed to have found one for my collection. There are no PSA 10's and nine PSA 9's. Mr. Cowboy.

    Steve

Huge congrats on a great card. 63s in general are impossible and that card is extra tough. Huge addition.

Two awesome new grabs. First, from our own @76collector comes this card that Jeff recently got back in a sub hoping for a 9. I think Jeff was right, myself, and I know he's got a great eye and with it now in hand I only feel so even more making this a great ransaction start to finish. I always wanted a mint copy of this card and I feel as though I have one now...

The second is just me being me: I'm a sucker for the card, it's five Hall of Famer's pitcured, a good price and, in particular, the guy facing the camera, at left...

    Great LT.

It is so funny to hear you say that; I actually hand delivered some items to @UFFDAH not that long ago…
