Stand & Deliver
Gold
Stand & Deliver Gold was a parallel limited to 250 sets and came encased in a glass frame -- with each frame (but not the cards) serial-numbered. Because of the unusual distribution, Stand and Deliver Gold singles are difficult to find, and when they are found, tough to find in mint condition. The Gold cards came in two different flavors: with the words "STAND & DELIVER" in either silver or red letters. It is believed that the first 25 framed sets had the red letters, with the remaining 225 sets were silver lettered.

I have a couple of items that qualify but this one is my favorite. Don’t know if I can bring myself to grade it; I like it as is. That said, the little panel that pops up or the entire front cover can be graded now if you’re willing to cut it up.

Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?
The set is called Burton's Wagon Wheels. It's from the 1990s. Sorry for the late reply, I've been hanging out in the Joe Louis section of Ebay for days. It's on Ebay right now. I posted it here thinking I would buy it, but changed my mind at the last minute. I'm too focused on Joe right now. I'm obsessed with Joe. I need counseling.

I was debating between I know what gold does to men's souls. and That is when I took him for an ordinary human being, not part goat., but that one's the winner.
The first two have been graded and slabbed but are sitting at PSA on a ship hold as they reevaluate four other cards that received the dreaded “No Spec Info”. Grades are 6 and 3 respectively. The last is crossing the pond as I post and will be part of my next sub.
The players on the left side of the two double panels are both members of the Rangers FC and Scottish Football HOFs and were also teammates for several years.

1998 Zenith
1998 Zenith is a 100-card set released by Pinnacle Brands in May, 1998. Dubbed the "Dare to Tear" set, each pack had three 5" X 7" cards with one 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" standard-sized card embedded inside. In one of the stupidest gimmicks ever conceived, collectors were faced with the dilemma of having to choose to keep their jumbo 5" X 7" card in-tact, or to tear open (and thus physically destroying) the jumbo card to get to the standard-sized card. Ultimately, collectors by and large chose to perform "Cardboard Caesarians" by slice the backs of the jumbo cards with a razor blade to remove the smaller card.

This just arrived yesterday and I couldn't be more happy to have it! It is a 1962 Golden Arrow Dairy milk cap, and is only the second one that I know to still exist. I got it in a recent trade with a big football collector.
I have a special affinity for Frank Buncom and his family, and this rare 1962 Golden Arrow Dairy milk cap completes my Buncom master set. I detailed my connection with the Buncom family in an old post on my blog:
