Where is the HOF talk about this guy? Maybe in 2021 with the new voting cycle. He fits right in with Chuck Klein, Duke Snider, Johnny Mize and Hack Wilson.

Todd has posted a couple of Gino cards, so it’s only right that I post a Gino card I bought from Todd! The Caprolan Nylon photo premiums are hard enough to find, but this is the only one I’ve seen that says “Allied Chemical” on it instead. AC was the parent company of Caprolan.
Sorry. I don't have them any longer. I had a mint set at the time and remember the Jordan. The guy at the card shop in Reno, Nevada, couldn't give them away back then and tossed them in on something I bought back in the Summer of 1992. Oh well...

1998 Pinnacle Certified was supposed to be a 150-card release, intended for release in early August, 1998. The product was never released due to Pinnacle Brands' bankruptcy in July 1998
Born this day in 1929. So many stories and tidbits to tell about this man but one I remember is when he was fined $100.00 for doing a Indian war dance in centerfield trying to distract Ted Williams at the plate! He passed in 2017 (June 3).

So. Did you wear Nats gear to the World Series game in Houston? 😉
Lol, no. I didn’t have anything but planned on buying a cap at the game. However, couldn’t find anything but Astros stuff. Did sit next to a few Nats fans though

I'll add an Exhibit card too. I enjoy collecting great underrated players. Ken had a monster year in '22 and is 52nd in career batting average (.319)! Didn't play regularly until he was 30.

91 years young and going strong! I wouldn't have thought so looking at this card! I know he liked to drink and eat fried foods and battled gout. Here he is fresh off a 24 win season and would have a Cy Young award if there was one for each league (not until 1967!).

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a card or not, but annual guides have similar-type items included. This is the only example of this Lance Alworth schedule/card that I have ever seen, despite living in San Diego my entire life and focusing on the AFL and AFL Chargers for the last 20+ years. It is not cataloged anywhere that I have seen.

Well, not a card but incredible vintage Armour coin find.
Recently we purchased a collection in Fort Worth Texas. There were almost 300 coins and included were 16 Mickey Mantle coins. For those of you that do not know, Armour had an error on the Mantle coin and spelled his last name Mantel. The error is very common and easy to find. Of the 16 we got in this collection, 13 had the rare corrected version of his last name, Mantle. What even more incredible, the red coin from what I understand, only a couple were known to exist til this find!
One of my top 5 favorite Yaz items in my collection. When I was growing up, my grandfather had a bunch of these Sox stickers stuck to the door from his garage to his kitchen, originally stuck there in 67.

1997 Topps ProShooters Marbles was a test issue believed to have been released only in Canada in the summer of 1997. Each pack contained two, 1" diameter, marbles and one of two checklists.
The 1965 Topps Art Powell card actually pictures teammate, Clem Daniels. The error was not caught or corrected, and is one of two such instances in the set. Larry Elkins and Rick Redman is the other, though those two were not teammates. I like to be as thorough as possible with my signed sets, so I got one of each card signed by Art. Then I was cruising a TTM message board one day and saw a collector had posted that he had sent a 1965 Topps card to Powell and instead of signing his name, Powell had printed CLEM DANIELS on the card. So I traded him an unsigned Powell for that one so he could try again to get it signed.

Funny... I used to work at Lake Tahoe and once had a full set of these cards. Haven't seen them since.

Not great. He’s a backup, but a solid one. Still has the same strengths as a defender, passer, rebounder. Still can’t shoot.

They go for crazy money considering and supposedly one of the harder jordans too obtain.
Would be interested in the Kenny Rogers card if you ever find them.

Turn down that hat! My vote for the most obvious Topps painted cap. Fresh from the Angels, I guess dayglo fluorescent paint was popular in those days!
My vote for the worst-cropped Topps football card of all time...
