Felicia, You're my idol. Are you married? If not, would you consider 35 years old, 6'7", 260lbs......My wife might have a problem with it but once I showed her your cards, I think she be ok. If you are married, ever thought about adoption? I would be the most independent child you have ever or will ever have. You just need to remember me in your will.
Another thought. (You may have already done this?)
I stopped counting at 50, of all the 1952 Topps Set Registry folks that have a message/email link. Set holders like BBCards4U (great buyer!), 707sportscards, Davalillo (now owns my #1 '61 nu-card fb registry set, and he posts here too!) and just soooooooooooooo many more!
I suggest that you "shoot" each one a short message that you are "buying 5, 6 & 7s"!
Between the top 50, I'd wager you get some cool offers! I'd venture a guess that this may turn into a nice source of '52s for you?
Keep us posted and good luck!

Im going to wait till my dealer friend sends me the spreadsheet saturday, I may end up with 200 cards graded from the 52 set in 6's and 7's. Once I see what type of deal we can strike I will then go all out to the registry set people.
I think after saturday we maybe at 70% complete or close to it depending on which 250 or so graded cards he picks up today.
He emailed me yesterday letting me know I get first shot at all the graded cards and he said a bunch were the high numbers..
So we shall see..I would like to add a bunch of 7's to pull the set up pretty high on the gpa..
I will post as soon as I see what I can get and if we can work out a fair price for both of us.
Yes but take out the mantle as I already had that card... >>
I know, I was just looking at the "SMR value" rather than what you spend on it. Just wanted to see what it would be worth. If you ask me it would be worth more than SMR though. Especially for PSA 7s. In my very limited experience selling PSA graded 1952 Topps cards (about 30), it seems like the PSA 5s and 6s sell at a pretty consistent rate, where anything PSA 7 and up can get a mind of their own (similar to a low-pop modern PSA 10).
<< <i>A friend contacted me and offered me Gil Hodges in a PSA 7... So I bought it.. >>
Let's see that pic when you get it! NICE CARD!

Minimum - $26,500 Maximum - $129,540 Spread - $123,040 Median (half above/half below) - $54,263.50 Mean (average) - $55,626.67
To complete the rest of the set (minus the Mantle and choosing the lower priced version of all of the red/black-back variations) according to average VCP pricing:
All PSA 7 - $116,468.12 All PSA 6 - $50,734.90 All PSA 5 - $34,071.29
These numbers also assume that Felicia buys only one variation of Page, Sain, and Campos.

GREAT, GREAT new aquisition Felicia! (going to have to recruit you next time I'm searching)
Congrats on the Campy and Robinson! Not trying to be a bummer or anything, but imho the Robinson is overgraded and really does not go with your Mantle. I would not rush the set.........just sayin.
WTG FELICIA! With the quickness in which you are obtaining cards for this set, I think you should have done ALL the sets in your opinion poll! LOL

Message posted..lets see what we generate..
I only worry about recourse if I buy something and they dont deliver...
I have to think about how I would want to complete this transaction if someone approaches me with cards for sale..
I might have them put it up on ebay with a buyitnow, pay via paypal...so I am covered.
At least thats my first thought as to how I would complete a transaction from that board.
