FWIW...I will try to have this set completed by the chicago show in november.
I will then bring the set (or as much as we have completed) to the show and when we all ( those that go) get together, we will look at the set, Have drinks and look to see if any of the cards should be sent in for reviews.
If we deem some should be sent in, we will do it at the show.
I hope a bunch of you make the Chicago show in November..
MAN I wish I would have waited to sell my recent sub of 1952 Topps cards. I'm going to a show this weekend with checklist in hand to search for gradable 52s. What a set! >>
I'll say $49,471. It took me nearly 2 years just to put together a PSA6 Cubs team set..mainly because I was super picky on the centering...but I can't imagine all the time spent to put that monster together. Good luck!
<< <i>And we movin' on up (movin on up), to the top (to the top), to dee-luxe apartment in the sky-high....... Yeah movin on up (movin on up), to the top (to the top), we gonna get a piece of the 52 pie! >>
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Ron Burgundy has responded. He is going to sift through his 52's over the weekend and determine whether it would be apropos to break up his low number run to assist in this effort.
I'm Ron Burgundy?
