<< <i>I opened a 2008 Co-signers baseball, and would not recommend it. Did not get much. I only had to pay $59 for it though >>

Agreed, the quality on mine was terrible too. Quite a few of the variations had PD on the bottom of the card. On top of that im still waiting for some crummy redemption from May.

Check out this link, Topps List . I think it's got what you are looking for. I will try and find you the actual SP list instead of just the card #'s. Good luck to you.

This is one of my favorite sets of all time. It also contains my dream card, the 03 real one Hank Aaron!

    Good Luck!

    Thanks for the checklist.

Did manage to pull an auto, Larry Jansen, but not a big star unfortunately. The Ibanez is 462/554, Ishii is 0579/1954, ARod is 0514/1954, Piazza is 0592/1954.

Just got back from a show and was hoping to find some unopened 01-06 Heritage to rip but no such luck. Did pick up a couple of nice autos though among other things.

nice job on the ink pull

That is arguably the finest design Topps has ever produced.
    Thanks for the rip.

Retired autos were 1:8 boxes, so that was a nice box. If its for trade please let me know.

2003 was the only year I did the chrome set. This was one of my most favorite designs. Thanks very much for the rip and scans!

Well I got my package from BBCE today and sadly the main reason for my order was not in the package. I had ordered a PSA 7 1962 Topps football pack as well as a 2001 Heritage box, two 2005/06 Upper Deck series two hockey boxes and three packs of 1979 Topps hockey. The 1962 pack was not in the order, nor was I charged for it. Ohh well I guess I will have to find one somewhere else. I sort of wish they had let me know because I would have ordered some other stuff, I was shooting for $1000 order.

I did happen to buy a box of 2004 SP Auth football from my local card shop. Sadly the box was $169.95 which I thought was ok since I saw some buy it now auctions on ebay for $165, using my trusty iPhone to browse ebay from the card store. When I got home I went ahead and checked some completed auctions, I couldn't remember my ebay password so couldn't access completed auctions from my iPhone. I saw that these boxes normally sell for ~$100. I don't mind over paying a little I don't particularly like it when I grossly over pay for an item. Well hopefully I will pull a Fitzgerald, Manning or Roethlisberger signed rookie.

Well it was a fun rip but alas all no name rookies. I did get a nice Roy Williams auto. I think he should work "horse collar" into his signature somehow.

Got a couple boxes of 2008 SP Auth football at the local card store, a 2008 Playoff Contenders football box and a 2007 Co-Signors football box. Going to rip one of the 2008 SP Auth football boxes, cost was $125. Also will be ripping one of 2005/06 Upper Deck series two hockey boxes I received from BBCE last week. Hockey box was $50.

Sigs but from nobody I've heard of...here is hoping one of these nobodies becomes a somebody. Well now on to 2005 Upper Deck hockey hoping for an Ovechkin rookie.

The 2005/06 Upper Deck hockey wasn't much better than the SP Auth. Did pull an Ovechkin but it is some "Victory" subset card.

I think I will open the 70/71 Topps basketball series two pack this week. I'll try to make sure I do at least one "vintage" pack a month.

Not sure I'd open the 70-71 Pack. Only one card makes it financially worth it..even HOF rookies like Calvin Murphy wouldn't pay for the pack, you'd have to hit one or two really nice centered stars which is a tough proposition. I guarantee only Maravich would make you happy.

Going to open a box of 2007 Co-signors football as well as a 2008 Playoff Contenders football box. I got the Co-Signors box for $62 and the Contenders box for $130 from my local card shop.

I received a box of 1998 Playoff Contenders football in the mail today. Not sure how long I can hold off on opening it. I don't think I've ever opened 1998 Contenders.

I've yet to hit a big auto card from 07 Co-Signors. The Elway is numbered 05/25.

The 2008 Contenders was fun. No big rookies but with the Henne, numbered 02/25, and Flynn you never know. QB is one of the few positions in the NFL that stars don't always make an impact or even play as a rookie.

Good star power in the first 4 cards but the centering is a little poor. Sadly doesn't look like there will be a Jordan in this pack.

The pack sequence turned with the Vinnie Johnson but sadly we are going to be off by one card, if only they had 13 card packs with a sticker...

The "microwave" has good centering but the black ink smeared on the left side.

I will be subbing the Thomas sticker, Bird, Barkley and Wilkins. I think the Thomas, Bird & Barkley are 8s at best due to centering and the Wilkins looks like a 9.

    fergie,
thanks again for ripping these hi buck packs and sharing the results. The Gordie Howe was nice but could have a bit better lower margin. I hope you get some nice grades out of your submissions and are able to get back some of the $$ you have in to everything. For every one of us that comments on your pack rips, there are at least 20 more wishing we could afford to do what you have been- keep it up!

Grades popped today for the 1971 Topps baseball. About what I expected was hoping for one PSA 9 to pay for the rip. The rest of the sub was ok, had sent some crackouts from other grading companies and they came back EOT or Min-Size.

Thanks for the completed sales links.

I received my latest order from BBCE today. Two 1986-87 Fleer basketball packs (yes I am addicted). I bought the 1998 Contenders football box and 2008 Contender football box off ebay. On Sunday I will be ripping a 1970/71 Topps basketball series two pack.

However, I am feeling kinda bored so I am going to rip a boat load of stuff now.

2008 SP Auth football box, 2007 Bowman Chrome football box, 2005/06 Upper Deck hockey series two hobby box, (2) 1986-87 Fleer basketball packs, 2006 Topps Heritage. If I pull nothing I may rip both Contenders boxes, if I am on a hot streak I will rip both Contenders boxes.

2005/06 Upper deck series two hockey purchased for $50 from BBCE. Sadly no Ovechkin but some random "Victory" Crosby card so can't complain.
Now on to 2008 SP Auth football. There are a bunch of good rookies from 2008 so hopefully I will pull one of them.

The 2008 SP Auth was exciting for a second and then I realized my "By the Letter" was the backup QB for the Chiefs...still a fun rip. I bought the box for $125 from my local card shop.
    Next up 2007 Bowman Chrome.
