This is the first PSA 10 in my Pirates collection. I was a bit surprised at that. This came from a fellow board member.

I pulled this from the Library of Congress - a prototype/precursor to the baseball cards to come.

    image

This early prototype is actually an original photograph mounted on a card. At the start of the 1865 season, the Atlantics presented opposing teams with framed photographs of the "Champion Nine."

I wouldn't mind finding something like this in an old book I pick up on the street for a buck?

I have this 54B pack - picked it up a long time ago from the BBCKid - would ya send it to PSA?

I have to say - I do like their holders.

Nice pack! I wouldn't send it to PSA. I'd send it to Joe's house.
I will take good care of it for you. You got too much stuff laying
around anyways. I prolly have 1987 Bond PRO 10 laying around
somewhere for a trade. Just think how much that puppy will be
worth someday!! I'm gonna put my grand kids through college
    on that 1.

It's not a new card per se, but it just came back from PSA/DNA. Only took a month and a half (on a 1 card submission dropped off at the GBSCC show in early November), but I'm happy with the grade. This is one of the first cards I've posted that I used my new scanner (HP4890) for. Not bad, eh?

I would have to send it in just to keep myself from wanting to rip that bad boy open. The pack appears to be in great shape and would look awesome in a PSA slab.

WooHoo! I just got these 1953 Bowmman in today and I am very pleased. Cards are much nicer than the grades. Anybody who collects 1953's knows how tough they are to find in even mid grades... I think I may be submitting these for regrading. The centering is typical for the set....what do you guys think? Am I just viewing these through rose colored glasses or should I send them in for regrading?

I also picked this up cheap. I have really been thinking of doing this All Star sub-set in PSA 8. I am not crazy about '68s in general, but I love the All Stars. The only problem is that the PSA label is sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left on horizontal cards. That bugs me a little.

The unexpected highlight of my most recent submission:

After going through a bunch of 1985 Topps football cards, I guess I expected this card to get a 7 or less. The 8 was unexpected, but welcome.

That Mays is off the chart!!!!

I once picked up an 8 before ebay and scans - it was from Greg Manning.

It was rough cut on both sides and look horrible!

They have a no return on graded - but took it back - the power of being a good customer.

    Very nice - Merry Christmas
