So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
<< <i>Lawnmowerman, how much did it cost you to psa/dna those cards? Do the new fees affect licensed cards? I was always curious... anyways, awesome cards! >>
Thanks Joe! They were $20.00 per card. They had them done in a week! Now my other subs, thats a whole 'nother story
I'm not going to suggest you resubmit it, but that Trippi looks like a 5, to me. Three really nice cards (I love the two stacked one bar facemasks on Joe's helmet) and the Baugh in your icon (not to mention that great pic of Bednarik) is also cool.

Thanks....I thought the same thing about the Trippi. The only thing that I see that might make it a 4 is I think that spot on the top border could be a pen point or some type of ink mark. Could that be the reason why its a 4? Would it be lower than a 4 if it is an ink mark?
I have about twenty or so. Some graded, some just authenticated and some raw. I buy raw ones that are in at least 8 form, so I can have them slabbed and added to my set. I try not to buy to many graded auto's because they can be quite pricey

Matt, do you collect other Emmitt memorabilia...or just cards? I have a cool piece I will scan and show you once I dig it up.

Those are really sweet! I didn't know you did Troy also - I think I pulled an auto card of him about 5 yrs ago.
Another great Emmitt - did he send you a Christmas card?
BigD
Great cards as usual.
The Trippi is incredible for a 4!
thanx! mike >>
Mike I just started the Troy set a month or so ago. No Christmas card from Emmitt yet . Ever since he won that Dancing with the Stars thing he seems to have developed a big head

I would think so. That grade, based on what I can see, is something of a mystery.
AWESOME Goudeys!...I wish you guys would stop showing all these cool old baseball cards!........It gives me the itch to start collecting baseball too...I'll have to fight the temptation..I'll go broke.

Love those Top Flights! I had a Sugar Ray Robinson from I believe the 1961 (?) series that I had graded a 96 by SGC. BTW, those cards are VERY cool looking in the SGC holders, FWIW.
Bigdaddybowman - out of curiousity, what is the name on the barrel of the bat Mattingly is holding? Does that say Dale or Bill? It looks like a 4 letter name, not Don....

Yup, thanks......and another win tonight!! If Vick had 4 TD passes, you know the Cowboys' D is awful. Owens dropping that one pass made me cringe as well, just to think..he leads the NFL in dropped passes. Geez. Great Romo game and another great win!
Nice sigs - what do you plan to do with them? Knuckles?

I just buy index cards and cut autographs because they are always cheap...I've always loved Charlie Gehringer's signature too, great penmanship. Are there Romo fans here?! Thanks Mike.
Great stuff as always guys! I am always amazed by the range of items posted in this thread.
WinPitcher, is it safe to assume that is you and George? I've read he can be kind of gruff, but I am not sure if thats true. I am not a Yankees fan by any means, not even close, but I respect what he did with the team. Great picture and thanks for sharing!

Sure did Matt
He said: "I'm very fond of "wax" packs!"
It's a beauty! I don't have a 10 in anything.
