    Zef,

    I am assuming that all of the payments have to be in before the packs are shipped. If that is true, then Paypal would definitely be better to send because it is quicker. If everybody would send Paypal payments, then we wouldn't have to wait for the mail to deliver the MO's.

    I just now though of that. Man, I'm a genious! image

    I had already said that I'd take MO's. I'm sure we'll get it done quickly. Everyone seems to be geared up for this.

    Can someone tell me the appeal of the 75 minis? The 75 Topps were probably the heaviest year I bought as a kid and didn't remember seeing any minis on the shelves (this was in the Phoenix area). Later when I started collecting again in the 1980s, the minis appeared to have been shunned by collectors as being an oddball issue. Were they regional? And why would someone collect these over the regular size issue?

    They were indeed regional. I think they were only distributed in the Michigan region. I saw a few in PA as a kid but not many. They didn't sell well initially. In pre-grading days, they booked for 1.5x the price of the regular due to their relative scarcity. However, a lot of unopened survived over the years, so the mini packs are actually more common than the regular size packs. That's not to say warehouses are stacked to the roof with them though.

    Most I've seen have gone for $70 or so.

    Good luck on the pulls. This might be a good time if you are a seller to list your 8's and 9's before a short term or even possibly longer term price drop of graded cards, once the cards from this case make it to ebay.

    dtsa - I believe your odds of pulling a Brett card in the 6 packs is 9% if the distrubution of cards is entirely random.

    How many are going to save at least one pack and keep it sealed?

    If my first 5 go real well, I will probably keep one sealed.

    I think i'll send a few to psa to grade if they ever get started with there pack grading. I'm begining to think it was rumors just to keep us from submitting packs to gai.

    I really don't think that will be an issue.

    There are 5760 cards. 1152 approxiamtely will have wax or gum damage. That leaves 4608 cards. I know that someone is leaving 2 full boxes unopened. That brings it down to nearly 4000 cards. Of those, I would bet nearly half the packs remain in tact so that brings it down to about 2000 cards. If every one of those cards are beautiful, with the set containing 660 different cards, thats about 3 cards of each will be opened.

    I don't think that is exactly a flood into the market.

    If it were me I would rip them. They are fresh from a case from BBCEX. I would think there is no better oppurtunity. Now if I had packs without knowing there history then yah slab them. These should definately be opened =) IMO

    Will be fun to watch =)

    Leaving a box sealed is gold. Anybody who bought a box and will leave it unopened is making a pretty good investment.

    I don't plan on ripping my 6 - but ya never know - the temptation may prove too much! I'm still amazed that this project which started out as an obvious joke (nice case break, zef) turned into reality for a good number of collectors, thanks to zef's efforts.
