    Good stuff, Ben!

I finally scanned those Phelps cards but have been too lazy to e-mail you. Here they are, a PSA 1 and a probable 3-4(MK) if submitted.

    image

    image

Backs are obviously the same and I like 'em both about equally, so it doesn't matter which one you choose, if any. Drop me a line or PM when you get the chance.

As for my own mail, this is probably my favorite recent arrival, though I haven't yet opened today's packages:

    image

Actually, I haven't had too many new arrivals since I'm still trying to get everything up on my website. Check it out if you're insanely bored.

It is one of the best MK's I've ever seen. Oughtta be some kind of premium for it.

This is a very interesting case for Baseball Card Forensics.

That is most definitely NOT Joe Rudi on the left. Rudi had a moustache, batted right and had a musclar physique.

The picture can only be from 1973 as the A's uniforms in 1972 had a small number on the left in the front, and in 1971 and before they wore "vest" flannel styles. The player on the left is pretty tall and thin, and is wearing a helmet with a left ear flap. There were only two white players on the team who were not pitchers and batted left - Jay Johnstone, and Pat Bourque. As I remember Bourque had a rather beefy physique, so it has to be Johnstone.

The player on the right is Allen Lewis, who was the first "designated baserunner" in baseball history.

Centering on the '82 OPC looks a litte marginal for a PSA 10.

Sorry, but nobody else had done it yet, and I'd hate to see the streak end image
