This came in yesterday - it's so long that it took four separate scans to show the entire 10 card uncut strip. I pasted the scans together but I could quite line them up right, so it looks like they've been cut, but they haven't. This is a W573 strip, featuring GC Alexander at the top. These cards were issued in 1922. For a penny, a kid could walk into the candy store and take this thing home with him. That penny got a lot "prettier" in modern day cost:

jackstraw,
You sold me on that '95 Post set, too. I made an offer on a complete set that was accepted tonight. Hopefully I'll be seeing these cards up close and personal by this time next week.
Yeh that coin seems to be short printed for some reason. I haven't seen too many of these hit ebay. I picked it up for a shade under 500(the most I have spent on ebay for any item!). I saw a PSA 8 on I believe mastro a few months ago that went for around 580. So yup I'm pretty happy with it and can't wait to send it off to PSA for grading! I will finally be at 100% on my 1960 armour set!

fdny- Nice postcard. Did you buy it slabbed or send it in? I have a fairly large collection of vintage stadium postcards, basically every stadium except Griffith Stadium, and I've always wondered if it is worth sending them for grading.
That looks like League Park in Cleveland. I think Cleveland was the only city that had one team play home games in two stadiums, one stadium for weekdays and one for weekends.

I try to buy raw then submit all my stuff. Risky, but saves money in the long run. This postcard I researched, to be certain it was manuf. during Jax playing days in Cleve.

Oh yeah, he just needs a team around him. I sniped it for 4 bucks on Ebay last night so I can't complain. It was listed differently and only been viewed like 4 times and only had 1 bid before me. I found it with 2-3 minutes left and got it.

fdnyladder7,
Nice Jackson and Ruth!
Did you get them authenticated yourself or did you pick them up that way?
Here are a couple I got recently. The graded card is the first 10 in my collection.
Got this beauty of an auto from Lawnmowerman! Thanks Matt!
Got this from Ebay for $1.59. My very first PSA 10! Dewey was my childhood hero, so this was a cool buy for me.
Cheers! Wick
Enjoy collecting vintage baseball cards, memorabilia and autos
