    Thanks @pursuitofliberty !

    I wasn't always a coin weenie! :D

But I was, always, and forever will be a coffee fanatic. Everyone in the platoon would hand me the Folgers packets from their MREs. My rucksack was full of 'em!

@DCW - can confirm, those packets of freeze dried coffee are still in the MREs.

Saturday mornings in the field aren't quite as nice as Saturday mornings with coins, but hey it could be worse!

For those that are attending Eagles concerts (I love the band), do know that Don Henley plays recordings of his voice versus singing live. This has been proven with voice recordings. So, it's an act!

@Flatwoods . The day is young but I doubt I am going to see a superior coin to the one you have posted. Congrats. James

Congrats, @Copperindian! I’ve been following your progress on the Walkers, and that’s quite a set you put together.

It's Saturday. I've got my daughter off to ballet, coffee in hand as I sit in the parking lot relaxing with thoughts on the hobby.

At a local show I picked up some raw frosty proof Franklins and SMS halves yesterday, plus two 1962 proof Franklins that are the DDO FS-101 variety.

i will take and post photos of them later today.

    UPDATE. Photos attached.

Oh God. Folgers. And Maxwell House. With desalinated water. And the requisite "JP-5" film. Oh my, that just has me longing for days gone by!! :o:#B)

Wow, I actually have some respect for you, now……

    Thanks big brother!

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
