Every cello pack I get with an OC front card, the rest of them are OC. Looks like you did well with centering with this one. Good luck!

For vintage topps packs That usually only happens for up to 6 cards.

Is Seaver card 6 or Javier?

    Were you expecting a Seaver??
You seem to have a sense on collation of EVERYTHING B)

Damn shame about the Seaver - but the cards look sharp!

Wowza…that’s a beauty! Such amazing color and clean, crisp registration. Congrats. Looks like a solid PSA 8.5 all day with a shot at a 9.

    Hoot-Hoot…that’s a PSA-9! Good comeback….

Awesome...been thinking about purchasing a few PSA vintage packs as well...however, the new holders seem like fort knox to crack open? how :o ?

  • TheGoonies1985TheGoonies1985 Posts: 5,506 ✭✭✭✭✭

That is simply amazing 3 of the bigger cards in a single pack to bad for the 2 OC's but that Gibson sure is a beauty!!! Imagine if all 3 were like that you sir have a lucky star watching over you!!!

Very nice 68s UFFDAH. I think it's an under-appreciated set.

  • ArtVandelayArtVandelay Posts: 701 ✭✭✭✭

I love the 1968 set. Something about that border makes the photo pop. I sent my Mays in and received a 9 earlier this year. I sent another in and it came back an 8.

  • brad31brad31 Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭✭✭

Congrats on the Gibson. I love 1968 but especially Series 1 and wish the rest of the set had the wider burlap strands as I think they look nicer than the subsequent series.

If you pulled a #1,37 or 55 in PSA8 or higher my heart will stop

  • BBBrkrrBBBrkrr Posts: 1,273 ✭✭✭✭✭

You are getting some of the best 8s ever issued!

  • Looking forward to some Gem Mint Ginger.

    Enjoy the go.

Absolutely no reason those cards shouldn't AT LEAST be 8.5's!

  • Dang again....the first Marino looks like a 10...hmmm

  • 82FootballWaxMemorys82FootballWaxMemorys Posts: 1,523 ✭✭✭✭✭

IMHO first Marino presents very nicely as such I think shoudl be an 8.5. Pre-2022 card would have been a sure 9. Upper right corner and multiple tiny chip flakes I think would have precluded a 10.

Snow killed the grade. Its way too common in 1984. Still a a nice card.

I guess I would get fired as a Grader for given out too many 10's? eeh? prolly never get fired for hammering cards B)
