Every cello pack I get with an OC front card, the rest of them are OC. Looks like you did well with centering with this one. Good luck!

For vintage topps packs That usually only happens for up to 6 cards.
That is simply amazing 3 of the bigger cards in a single pack to bad for the 2 OC's but that Gibson sure is a beauty!!! Imagine if all 3 were like that you sir have a lucky star watching over you!!!
I love the 1968 set. Something about that border makes the photo pop. I sent my Mays in and received a 9 earlier this year. I sent another in and it came back an 8.

I don't think you realize how appreciative many of us are by getting to experience this journey with you. Thank you for sharing all the breaks with us. Every card is so nice to look at regardless of centering or print defects. I know how expensive this is, as I have opened a ton of vending from the early 70's. Although many of the cards won't grade to the level I want (or get from PSA), the enjoyment of making sets from vending are the greatest of times. I love the football and baseball cards that you have pulled, but the non sports cards wins the award in my book.
P.S. The 1969 Greise is an 8-need to send that in again.

Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases
Congrats on the Gibson. I love 1968 but especially Series 1 and wish the rest of the set had the wider burlap strands as I think they look nicer than the subsequent series.
IMHO first Marino presents very nicely as such I think shoudl be an 8.5. Pre-2022 card would have been a sure 9. Upper right corner and multiple tiny chip flakes I think would have precluded a 10.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)

Is Seaver card 6 or Javier?

Bummer on centering but still a beauty, congrats

Have always LOVED that Seaver. Something so cool and fresh about that photo.
Congrats
Were you expecting a Seaver??
You seem to have a sense on collation of EVERYTHING
Damn shame about the Seaver - but the cards look sharp!

Wowza…that’s a beauty! Such amazing color and clean, crisp registration. Congrats. Looks like a solid PSA 8.5 all day with a shot at a 9.
Hoot-Hoot…that’s a PSA-9! Good comeback….
That one is awesome. Gibby was the best and that one is beautiful.
Wow amazing Gibson congrats well worth having graded!!!
Awesome...been thinking about purchasing a few PSA vintage packs as well...however, the new holders seem like fort knox to crack open? how ?
And that's a wrap

Very nice 68s UFFDAH. I think it's an under-appreciated set.

Thanks everyone!!
I believe I have a couple more 68 Cellos in my stash and will share when I decide to open them.

Back from grading
If you pulled a #1,37 or 55 in PSA8 or higher my heart will stop
You are getting some of the best 8s ever issued!
Looking forward to some Gem Mint Ginger.
Gobble.
Absolutely no reason those cards shouldn't AT LEAST be 8.5's!
COME ON PSA!
Pristine Mary Ann
A while back I opened the following pack. The ASARDO and the ASTON-MARTIN both came back as PSA 7's.
PSA did not scan the cards - not sure why.

That Gibson is WOW WOW WOW. Solid chance at a 9 on that one IMHO.
A pair back from grading. Both came from RACKS.
Dang again....the first Marino looks like a 10...hmmm

Snow killed the grade. Its way too common in 1984. Still a a nice card.
I guess I would get fired as a Grader for given out too many 10's? eeh? prolly never get fired for hammering cards
Hiya Chris.
Thanx for the updates and rips - overall, the 68Ts were awesome!
