What's the story behind this with Chick-fil-A on it? First I've seen. There were no Chick-fil-A establishments in my area back then so if that was a promo back in '76 that's pretty cool.

I ended up selling it for about $70. A few weeks later the buyer notified me he had cracked it out and submitted
to NGC where it is now housed in an MS66 PL slab.

John Kennedy was viewed as a very handsome man. I can remember the women swooning over him when he ran for president in 1960.
Oddly enough, it is possible to take an unflattering picture of anyone, and Kennedy was no exception. Among political items collectors, this is known as the "bug eyed Kennedy." It is a bit scarce, and there is a large and small version of it. The odd portrait and limited numbers have caused these pieces bring a fairly strong prices for fairly new buttons. The small one sells for around $75, and few hundred dollars for the large one.

Here is one of the very common, much more attractive Kennedy buttons. The last time I was at the JFK Library, they were selling copies of these buttons. Fortunately they were marked as such.
