We Want Kennedy - Post your Kennedys!

The John Fitzgerald Kennedy Half Dollar is the longest serving half dollar design, being issued for 58 years now and recently exceeding the Liberty Seated Half Dollar which ran for 52 years from 1839 to 1891.
It was the last circulation half dollar coin minted in 90% silver, and the largest denomination of that year, 1964.
Let's celebrate our 35th President and our coins.
Post your Kennedy coins, tokens, medals, and campaign buttons here
And don't forget this iconic JFK quote:
JFK said:
Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.
Here's one of mine to start! I love the colors on this. It's neat how the thin yellow ring on the reverse perfectly covers the ring of stars.

By the way, the slogan in the title is from this campaign button
Here's a modern creation that uses a similar slogan:
What always struck me as interesting is how the 1964 have these lines that look like fingerprints on the neck. I wonder why is that?
I'm guessing it could have been brush marks on the plaster or something else part of the design. Though it would be neat if it was from Gilroy Roberts or Frank Gasparro.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
My pair of Off Centers:
What is the size of the Kennedy button? Looks to be a litho
Can you post an image of the back?
I do not recall seeing this one before... could be from Kennedy's Senate re-election in 1958
Edited to add- I do not see the We Want KENNEDY Again as a genuine Kennedy campaign button- This one is- 4" litho made by Green Duck Co out of Chicago

Kennedys are my quest...
I have a lot of Kennedy halves....the special issues and an album, which stops at - I think - 2010. Mainly, a lot of AH.... which @Mr_Spud posted above. Still find an occasional AH in a mint set. Cheers, RickO
Had dropped off my 2014 four coin 50th anniversary set for grading at the Baltimore Show and just got it back a couple of days back. Mighty peeved that they all came back as 69's.

This is not mine, but one of the Nicest Toned Kennedy's I've ever seen.
Gorgeous coin and high grade!
Here's the TrueView
It's in a private registry set so no info on owner.
One general rule of thumb is that die work was generally better for 19th century political tokens than it has been for the more modern pieces.
Women swooned over Kennedy when he was candidate. Pieces like this made him look quite handsome.
But even a good looking candidate can be caught at a bad moment. This is known to political collectors as the "bug eye" variety.
Awesome medal @BillJones!
While the style has changed, one has to roll with it.
I even have some medals from recent elections but they are in the shape of the lower 48 rather than a circle.
By the way, your medal says "© 1960 M.A.T.". Do you know who M.A.T. is?
No, I'll have to research that one.

Sort of interesting that there is an obvious double standard... the political pin is clearly a fake... whether it is a fantasy piece or just a reproduction has not been addressed or answered. If there was a fake slab or counterfeit coin, it there would be all kinds of commentary. Using a fake is not a good look or an acceptable practice... period. Please remove the fake and replace it to at least be consistent with what has been posted.
APIC members among others including those that collect politicals should not have to tolerate this especially when there are so many other images/pictures/options to select.

One of my most recent purchases. Nearly DMPL obverse and super-flashy.

PS: My grandma spotted me three silver '64 JFK halves (as well as 17 silver FDR dimes and six silver GW quarters) that she happened to have saved; isn't she wonderful?
